Both Kansas City and San Francisco are two good examples of teams that kept most of their roster intact and all that was needed was changing in coaches.

The 49ers went from 6-10 in 2010 to 13-3 in 2011 once they got rid of Singletary and brought in Harbaugh and his staff.

The Chiefs went from 2-14 with Romeo Crennel in 2012 to 9-0 so far this season and the only changes that were made were Alex Smith at QB and Andy Reid at head coach.

In my opinion i think this team is capable of winning only thing holding this team back in my opinion is a good head coach that can get the team ready to play each Sunday and have a staff that can maximize the talent we have especially on the offensive side of the ball.

I think you also have to have the team prepared in all phases of the game and one area that has bit us in the ass is special teams i blame that on Munchak. We should've kept Lowery that was a no brainer and also we should've been more prepared and brought in a returner.

Why are so many people on this forum scared of change?

A lot of people are like well I still like munch and it's not all his fault. Screw that, he's not getting the job done.

Or Locker lets give him ANOTHER YEAR, no he's had three years he can compete for the job next season.

It's sickening how complacent and satisfied with the status quo every year titans fans can be. I remember last titans playoff came I traveled too (sadly 2009) we got told to calm down by the people behind us. Really in a playoff game!?' Grow some gonads!

I'm all for getting rid of Munchak. Also get rid of Locker he will never ever be healthy a full season.Time for a new head coach and QB.

The last two losses both at home were by two and three points. The first game the team was not ready to play nor did they do anything to adjust once the Jags started winning. In the second game i blame it on Munchak bringing in some ******* off the street (Wylie) he was unemployed for a reason.

Chiefs got a QB. Thats not "only a change" Thats a big change

Reid is an offensive guru, just a Harbough is. Id love to have had either but when coaching changes were brought up here, many of the people here scoffed at the idea of getting Reid.

However those are two good examples.

Now list the ones that didnt turn around after getting a new coach.

    Good point. Mike Munchack is a . . . . . aaaa . . .. . a hall of fame player. We have no guru's ,
no tangible experience, and wishy washy leadership. We have a rookie O.C. and a two headed monster in the Defensive category. We need a leader who is proficient in at least two phases of the game. Greg Williams has the most experience on our staff . . . . hmmm. Maybe an obvious idea there. At least we can take care of that wishy washy thing.

The irony is Kansas City looks to be a team of destiny.

Seems they either play bad teams or teams missing their starting QB. Many immediately thought they'd lose to Denver... but, as luck would have it, Peyton is injured. He'll most likely start, but they won't be facing a healthy Peyton.

The Chiefs have "the luck" on their side, currently.

If the Colts play them... may as well kiss Andrew Luck good-bye! At least for that week!

We both know its not the only one.

My point is using 49ers and Chiefs isnt the best example. There are many more failures than successes.

I dont mind change, but change doenst always turn out for the better.

I brought up the Jags. Every time they replace a coach they get worse.
