that is very true about the vince young/kiwanuka play but he was right there to see the handoff. I think it was truly just a stupid play on his part.

we keep hearing about how great a pass rusher he is but I haven't seen it. id rather just blitz Zach brown and keep ayers at LB.

:hugelaugh:That play man. Imagine how pissed our board would have been had that kind of play happened to us.

Lets apply the same reasoning to Grey/Williams that we do to Munch/Loggains.

Ayers was making plays, and was a good LB. Then he fell off (as did our whole defense). Maybe the coaches arent putting him in the right position to play to his strengths?

With the way our defense has played the past 4 games, It baffles me why some people are saying "get rid of everyone, except Williams" Fact is, when something bad happens, this defense has let up and its not nearly as effective as it was the first 4-5 games of the season.

You should..... who do you think lined up our DL and LB's? He was the one making the defensive adjustments.

It's not like McCarthy didn't do that when he was the entrenched starter. He's doing it now and he's been in the defense longer. What's the difference?

Moise Fokou has a fun name to type, as far as taking back his job from McCarthy, no thanks. I much prefer the faster more dynamic kid from Miami.

Moise Fokou always seems to be a step short of making a play. McCarthy on the other hand swarms the ball and is always in place to make something happen.

Ill have to find where I had the stats, Ive lost it.

The defense changed when Fokou went down. Not saying its ALL due to him, but Brown/Ayers are not nearly as effective as they were the first 5 games of the season. In fact, it looks as if both have dropped off tremendously.

Ill get back to you on this later when I have more time. We definitely miss Fokou.

Want me to take every player on this team and show you one or two horrible plays by them this season, or last season? Its one play

Reality is, the best of players make bad plays here and there. And Fokou isnt a great player. Just as you say Pollard is a huge liability to us in the passing game (at least I think that was you), he still has his place and has helped this defense. Same thing with Fokou.
