What I was trying to say is, its a shame our screen game with our backs is so bad. Great way to get CJ in space. So much I wish we could do with that guy.

I have a question, maybe I have missed this a few times IDK but when was the last time our qb actually called an audible at the LOS based on the defense?

Hard to say. I heard Jake and Ryan both saying "check " this past Sunday. Whether they were checking to another play or changing an assignment within a play is hard to know unless you have access to the system.

true, and I did hear the check call but I never saw anyone move if you know what I mean. We usually go up to the line call check no matter what the defense is lined up as , maybe go in motion and then hike the ball and hope the play works!

I gotta say (Im watching the Jags game again finally), and so far on our first 3 offensive plays Loggains has CJ running into traffic, and its obvious there's going to be congestion just from the presnap.

Now Im not sure if Locker had the freedom to audible, but in previous games he has changed the play. Is Locker that blind to not check into something better?

I would think he would know his pre snap reads but I did question it a few times when it seems like we run in to a brick wall all day long!

Yea Im listening for the audible and he's not making any. But thats just on the first few plays. Im watching it now, but it takes time using both the broadcasted version and the eye in the sky version.

I think he just runs the play that is called and he trusts his coaches too much! I never gave the audible issue much thought but I was thinking about it sunday about why he never changes the play. I see most qb's audible and change formations at the line of scrimmage and I barely see it with our team.

Could be as simple as changing one assignment within the play that's called. I have some coaching experience on a much smaller scale l.o.l. Say we were running a play where we pulled the guard. If we got certain looks, the QB would make a "kill " call. It didn't change the playcall, but we didn't pull the guard. As I said, much smaller scale, but possible scenario at all levels I would believe.
