    What he said...

Also, we haven't got a dysfunctional locker room. Players aren't going to throw the staff under the bus. They are passionate and upset about the loss, as they should be.

All in all, just like any sports teams when you buy a lot of new guys, even when it ends up working it takes a bit of time.

When I look back at the start of the season, I thought we made some quality signs. And so far it looks really good in that part. And we all said if that works out, we'll go as far as Locker can take us. Well Locker made it half-way, barely. He looked really good at times and not so much at others.

Some say Dowell was holding him back, some choose to even blame him that Lock always decided to check it down. OL pass blocking wasn't so good at times, I agree, but I still feel Lock had the weapons to succeed.

For the games that Locker succeeded, right now looks like it was against pretty horrible teams. The Texans have I think lost every game since they beat us. PIT is awful and the D won that game. Against the Jets he was alright I guess but the D also really helped. Gregg also threw a lot at Geno and we made life really rough for him. Against the Rams Jake was again pretty bad but CJ woke up to piss Jeff off and basically won the game for us.

I'd be shocked if we draft anything but a 1st round QB or don't go after a top guy next free agency... I still think we are just a good QB away...

Let me tell why that is total bull****. True I teach everyday, my contract is for 200 work days a year. Am I at the top of my "game" every day...no of course not. Could I and would I be if I only "worked" 16 days a year? You bet your ass I would and so would anyone else making 6 figures or more a year. I am also tired of excuse making fans.

A player should be motivated anyways, its called pride.

Motivating a team is an important part of being a head coach. Although I can look at this last game and remember the basic "you cant turn the ball over that many times and win" logic, its definitely a part of the head coaches job to motivate.

I do not think this team is unmotivated though. Just because you lose against a horrible team, doesnt mean you are not motivated.

This is what happened last week
