Fishface should have stayed retired. So far we've won the two games I wanted most...The Chargers and then the Rams.

You better start wanting for us to sweep the Colts then.

    Don't see a sweep. 1-1 maybe though.

I like Fisher more than most fans but that is absolutely absurd in every way possible. People are morons.

Haven't you heard... Fisher gives the best blowies.

    That's why everyone misses him.

I have always been mystified at the Fisher love, and I really thought if we could beat him in his house people would stfu and admit that he's nothing special and that we made the right call letting him go.

Nope... the love continues. Now I just straight up don't like the guy after the way he handled the post-game shake. That was possibly worse than Harbaugh coming in amped up on Jim Schwartz. They worked together for 16 years and Fisher has absolutely nothing to say to Munch! If we ever get to play that bum again, I want us to run the damn score up on his ass.

    Fisher sucks! Go Titans!

To be fully honest, the time since fisher left has been much more exciting for us. Like it or not dude stayed way beyond his welcome.

We might have ended up with the leagues reject pool of coaches... But some positives have really happened. We havnt been stagnant IMO. Fisher is consistent though... But consistently .500...

At least with munch and company we know the door can keep revolving til we hit the sweet spot. Fisher woulda been the same song and dance. Forever.. like a really bad marriage.

I noticed the "nothing" of a handshake too - but after thinking about it I wonder if it was Fisher just felt his season go flush down the drain with that loss. The Rams are 3-6 now and probably even an incredible run wouldn't save them now.

I didn't get a vibe from it like the Bellicheck/Mangini non-acknowledgement, or the Harbaugh/Schwartz rub-it-in handshake (I still find it hard to like the 49ers because of Harbaugh). I think w/ Fisher it seemed more like his boat had just sunk for the season.

The time since Fisher left hasn't been all bad and if can get a winning record this year then Munchak will have two out of three seasons over .500.I really do hope we make the postseason that would be great.I do think we made the right choice moving on from Fisher he would've kept us mired in mediocrity and i think things would be really bad if he would've stayed. We would've had no Locker at QB just a below average veteran like Luke McCown.I have seen Munchak do a few things Fisher would've never done like going for it on 4th down,Yanking veterans out of the lineup and inserting the best player even if he is a rookie,Willingness to try new things, etc.

mike75, I'm pretty much in the same boat. I happen to like Munchak alot, and the whole philosophy of change that he comes with. He's shown high willingness to move pieces around - both players and coaches. He inherited a not-so-good situation - our team was a mess when he came in - and I like the direction it's going now. The first year surprised me and I think created the big letdown of his 2nd year. This year is a hope a good reflection of the team he's trying to build and I like the direction.

Our team needed to evolve from the Fisher years - and that's not to bash Fisher. I'm just glad our team is becoming something different. I was of mindset Fisherball had run it's course in the new NFL and his teams were become too drama-filled - Fisher had some great teams but he wasn't going to change approach even though league was changing imho.
