Those are skewed with garbage time though. Let's not forget the: 1 yrd, 1 yrd, 2 yrd, -3 yrd, 70yrd run style he has.

That style doesn't help you win games in the NFL. We need consistency and we aren't getting that with CJ

I would even say Nate is worth his price. He is (was?) the most consistent WR we had with a vet presence and mentality. He was Jake's go to guy. With Kendalls rising we may not need him anymore which is fine, but then what? KW and JH? Kinda shaky even with Williams in the line up.

Last two games he has averaged what like 5 yards a carry. And we almost lost them both! Yeah that YPC is HUGE!

And if you are so caught up in yards per carry. Then dont forget to mention Wrights Yards per catch and be upset with it. DON'T HAVE DOUBLE STANDARDS FOR CERTAIN PLAYERS.

Nate is diminishing. He is not worth the price at all.

This is a very common mistake made by fans of pro sports teams. You cant look at CJ's numbers now and judge him. Players are paid based on what they have already done. Trying to judge a players worth by looking at his salary is bogus. CJ isnt being paid $10 mil this season because he is on pace for 2000 yards and 16 TDs. Its because he has been great. Its just a fact of life in pro sports. Truthfully players rarely play to their huge contracts. They have alredy earned it.

For me - it's not that I don't like CJ, it's that I don't like paying RBs 1/5 of our total cap. The dude makes $10 mill a year, when playing against good run Ds he's invisible.

46 carries, 110 rush yards, 2.39 YPC, & 0 rushing TDs vs NYJ, KC, SEA, and SF

If you're getting paid elite money, you should be able to atleast put up respectable numbers vs good rush defenses. That simple. He'll show up vs these crappy teams, get good stats, and stick on our team next year. Everybody called this multiple weeks ago. He's still invisible vs good teams... I wish he'd prove me wrong, but he hasn't.

Don't worry too much.. Titans fans are the only fans that regard him as an effective, top 10 running back. Most other fans see opposing teams' players for what they really are.

3 of those games we had ****zpatrick in there. And the SF game he only had 9 carries. See you skewing numbers as well.

What about Jake Locker. He's good against good teams but bad against bad teams?!? Seems just as big of problem to me.

That is how stupid organizations operate, at least. When you pay someone, you (should) pay them based on their ability in the future and to replicate (or build on) what they've done, not the past. That's why giving CJ that big money was a bad deal.

That's why the Titans were smart (for once) in not giving Haynesworth that ridiculous contract.. they knew he would not be making an encore performance.
