Need info on rebuilding a classic muscle car.

Whatsup folks? I just bought a 1970 chevy nova project car. I got a mechanic who is charging me $4700 for a big restoration job. This includes rebuilding the turbo 350 tranny (with torque converter), rebuilding the small block 350 motor and adding upgrades to get it up to about 400 hp, adding a dual flowmaster exhaust, fixing all the rust spots and replacing the rusted fendors, and a paint job.

Anybody who has experience with these old cars please give me some input on this deal I'm getting. From what I know, it's a good deal, but most the parts are used so I didn't know it'd maybe I could gotten a better deal somewhere else.

 

Trunk is in tact. Does have a few rust spots throughout, but not too bad. Interior is in ok shape. Need a door panel and need to fix the cracked dash and there is some rust on the rear dash. Overall its in decent shape, and hopefully after these guys get done with it all I will have to worry about is the interior.

Well its going to have to have a few mods to the motor to get it up to about 400 hp, but besides for that is going to be just a good ole fashioned American muscle car (no 24 inch rims lol)
