Bagned up knee. Lol. It sucks for both but both can end careers and ruin life's as well. I've been knocked out and have had my knee blown out. I'd take a concussion over a torn acl any day of the week twice on Sunday

I for one agree on the player safety aspect of the game, as far as leading with your head, but the hits on a defenseless player penalty is getting tic tacky! I mean any hit (even if it's legal) draws a penalty. Like I said, I agree with the leading with the head penalties, but it sickens me to see a defensive player ( already at a disadvantage due to flag happy officials) getting a penalty for trying to seperate a player from the ball with a LEGAL hit (hard or soft). Hey it's not their fault the freakn receiver left the ground for the ball! Thats what they are supposed to do. "You can't hit high" ( I agree with that) "you can't hit low" ( I agree with this partially). Example: Ayers called for hitting Kaep to low. Not intentional but draws a flag because "you can't hit low". I don't want to see anyone have a serious injury at all, but this game is supposed to be physical ( It has been throughout football's existence). If they take that away, then what game will we have? A bunch of grown men appearing to hug each other every Monday, Thurs, and Sun. I don't know about y'all but that sounds disgusting to me. *Throws down the Mic*

I am all for big hits, just not head hunting and leading with your helmet if it is intentional. Sometimes it happens unintentionally and that's ok but this guy just does not learn. I see plenty of suspensions with this guy going forward.

I love the big hits, it's what makes football football. That being said I have to agree with the majority in this thread. Merriweather makes absolutely 0 effort to lead with his shoulder. I live in New England so I watched both him and Asante routinely hit other players in the head with their helmet. I agree that the league is getting flag/fine happy and that if a player is clearly trying to lead with his shoulder but accidentally makes contact with his head there should be no fine but this doesn't apply to Merriweather.

Very few guys headhunt like him. It's like he's in a race to see how many brain cells he can kill in a career. I don't wish it on him but this man will probably be suffering from Alzheimer's and drooling on himself before his 60's if he doesn't adjust his game. Nice burn on Brandon Marshall though, funny stuff.
