They're not cutting Griffin (he would leave 5.4M in dead money) - they might restructure his deal to open more room if they needed to.

Haven't seen much of Seastrunk this year so I don't have much of an opinion on him.

Of some of the RB's mentioned in recent days I would rank them: 1) Carey, 2) Sankey, 3) Grice.

Homerism aside, I truely think Carey is a better back than Sankey based on his vision and inability to be tackled. Sankey is a good back who I think will have a successful career in the NFL, though.

Marion Grice is a good back in the Pac-12 right now. He leads the nation in TDs but my biggest concern with him is most of those TDs have come from him being lined up on the outside as a receiver.

With that said, I think Sankey or Carey (or Seastrunk?) would be a good 2nd round pick but anyone else may be a reach that soon IMO.

    Seastrunk - 5'10/210

    Sankey -5'10/200

    Carey - 5'10/196

They are all very similar and IMO a good comparison is Gio Bernard.

Carey is a faster twitch guy. Has that wiggle and it shows up on tape. Attributes like that... I give 3-4 years shelf life. He does flash some power and drags defenders sometimes

Sankey is a poor mans Carey. His lower body looks a tad smaller than Carey's and while similar he doesn't have the same twitch.

Seastrunk is built a bit bigger but likes to run north most the time. He also has the lateral ability to cut and burn defenders. He also has a knack for staying on his feet or breaking tackles. I wouldn't doubt he matches Carey in the 40, or is just slightly over.

Carey probably has the best hands out of the bunch.

I would vote for Seastrunk. I think his attributes will have the longest shelf life. I would bet on him staying healthy a tad more than the slightly smaller guys.

Nice. Yea he looks bigger than sankey on tape. He looks a tad more lengthy than Seastrunk tho. Seastrunk looks built better. Sankey is the odd man out easily

Yea, but RBs have slid further and further out of the first round recently. He could easily slide to ate first. Early second or some team can hop him and believe one of the others is a better fit

Late 1st for Carey at best, I think he goes in the 2nd simply due to the premium on RB in the draft sliding in recent years.

Carey is definitely 210lbs. Don't know what his ceiling would be with an NFL team weight-wise but could see him putting on more weight.
