Bud Adams has died

True, but still....

I mean yes he won some AFL titles, but a Super Bowl would have been the way to go out.

I saw Bud's face on the TV just now while having lunch at the bar. With his birth year and 2013 under the picture. Said "Oh man, Bud must have just passed." Right after Bum too.

Every picture they showed of Bud he had a giant smile on his face. And they showed a video of Lamar Hunt presenting him with the Lamar Hunt Trophy after beating the Tarpkitties. He is one of the last of that old generation. The so called "Foolish Club" that started the old AFL. He will be missed.

This ones for you Bud!

 

Wow. I just logged in only to see this. Haven't had a chance to read the thread yet. Totally bummed. ****ing sucks that he didn't make in to the HOF or snag a Super Bowl win before his death. Three straight losses. Life is harsh. ****-a-doodle-doo.

I have to thank him for giving us this franchise and team here in Nashville. I think we all thank him for that.

I hate to see him pass, but that is the nature of life. My thoughts are with his family, times like this are rough for anyone.

That being said, I don't think his judgment as an owner was very good in the past few seasons. Looking forward to new ownership and maybe a stronger push in the right direction in the future. No disrespect meant towards Bud by that statement.

I really hope we can rally together as a team and give Bud a nice win by stomping Fisher in St. Louis.
