The Colts fear Reggie Wayne tore his ACL during Sunday night's win over the Broncos.
Andrew Luck's inaccurate fourth quarter pass that caused Wayne to reach awkwardly turns out to be devastating. Not only is the 34-year-old Wayne a team leader, but he's led the Colts in catches, targets and yards during Luck's 1 1/2 seasons in Indy. T.Y. Hilton will have to step into an every-down role along with Darrius Heyward-Bey, although we wouldn't rule out a trade from aggressive GM Ryan Grigson before the Oct. 29 deadline. Hakeem Nicks, Kenny Britt and Josh Gordon are three talented wideouts that are rumored to be available.

When I saw him hold his knee, I knew it was bad. Seems like a lot of players are tearing their acl's this year

LOL. Can't take a chance of dumping Britt to the Colts.

I would be super pissed if we traded Britt to the Colts. It better not happen!

If it's our only opportunity to get something out of him then I hope they do it. Either that, or they can pick him up in free agency next year..

If the Titans miss the playoffs, it will be their own fault. And Britt is so fragile that it's doubtful that they'd even want him, and even more doubtful that he would stay healthy if they did get him.

You never trade guys within the division.

I'd rather get nothing for Britt than trade him within the division.

And if the Titans miss the playoffs because Britt lights them up and they lose to the Colts twice? I do not feel safe saying Britt can never be effective again. Certainly not safe enough to trade him to the one team we need to lose more than any other. Not worth the risk. No way.

I can't even imagine the anger on this forum if Britt went to the Colts, then put up 7-150-2 on us.
