hey britt be a good boy and next week you might get three plays! that's still three more than he deserves at this point. maybe have him on the field every snap and force feed him the ball to raise his trade value

Now if only you would apply that philosophy to the OL and your coaches, Munchak!

Well, Palmer got the boot last year, Gray has been given a supervisor.

Then we have the current OC who might/might not be up for the task and the OL where one OL HoF'er gets help from our HC and OL HoF'er.

On the defensive side the shake up has helped, offense... - well, the jury is still out.

But he made a catch when the ball was thrown right at him. So according to TWW2 we should all be praising Britt.

Kenny Britt played two snaps against the Seahawks, the fewest of any Titans receiver.

A week after losing his starting spot, he was out of the loop when the team went to three-receiver sets.

It certainly appears the Titans are pretty much done with Britt, who has been the subject of trade talks with other teams in recent weeks.

Titans offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said he’s still counting on Britt moving forward, however, starting this Sunday against the 49ers.

Britt didn’t get off the bench until the fourth quarter at Seattle, when he caught the only ball thrown his way, a seven-yard completion.

“Don’t read too much into (him not playing much),’’ Loggains said. “The thing is Kenny bounced back and had a catch in a crucial two-minute situation.

“I still believe that Kenny Britt is going to help this offense and I think he is going to fight back. That is really how you play yourself into a bigger role is you make a lay when your number is called and that’s what he did. We need to get him going against next week.”

Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt has seen his snaps plunge the last two weeks.

He lost his starting job in Week 5 against Kansas City and was on the field for just 35 of the team’s 69 offensive snaps. Things hit a new low last Sunday in Seattle, when Britt was on the field for just two snaps, managing to make one catch while he was in the game.

Titans coach Mike Munchak explained it’s difficult to figure out exactly the right number of snaps for Britt, a talented former first-round pick who’s been plagued by dropped passes and mistakes this year.

Against Seattle, Damian Williams was the team’s third receiver, the spot Britt had held the previous week after getting bumped from the starting lineup by Kendall Wright.

“We see him as a very talented guy who can make plays for you, but you reach a point where he’s not making the plays that are there, and you have to start giving more opportunities to someone else like Damian,” Munchak said. “Damian earned the right to be that third receiver … and then you figure how to fit (Britt) in depending on how the game’s going and how the receivers are doing.

“That’s the hard part. That is the challenge. Because in the back of our minds (Britt) is very talented. He’s a very good football player. That’s why we suit him up every week.”

Munchak sounded as if Britt still has the opportunity to work himself back into being a regular part of the receiver rotation.

“He got the ball thrown to him and he caught it,” Munchak said of Britt’s one catch against Seattle. “The more we get him out there and more he continues to catch it, the more you’ll start seeing him out there. Our goal is to keep him in the mix, without a doubt.”

Munchak noted that the team only had 52 offensive plays against Seattle, and that more possession might have meant more snaps for Britt.

“How he gets in there and how he gets reps is by us staying on the field longer and getting more opportunities — subbing him in there more,” Munchak said. “Let him make a play. Let him get open. Let him show he can beat the guy one-on-one.”
