I wanted Loutulelei as well but I like Warmack and I think with some time he could be a beast in this league.

CJ still clearly has it once he gets in open space. The problem is getting him in open space. We should really look at how the Lions use Bush to get him into open spaces and we should try to do the same. The only problem is they kind of have it easy b/c the defenses mainly focus on Calvin Johnson.

he doesn't have it, stop talking about the guy like he is some special runner. Average running back.

If CJ thinks the Seahawks run a traditional 4-3 defense, he's in for a very rude awakening.

I wanted Lotulelei bad. Could you imagine him and Casey in the middle of our line? Sigh.

Oh well. Still way too early to be definitively judging these guys.

    No one is Amano 2.0.

Amano was retarded, Turner at least has some level of intelligence, thats the only reason he's in is because he knows whats going on. Yea he's being beat physically but again, at least he knows his assignments.

Freaking Eugene Amano used to tackle his own RB, Turner has been bad but there's no one as bad at center as Eugene Amano.

DT has been a strength for us this year, so passing up on Star was no biggie, same for Vacarro.

But I do agree we shouldn't have taken Warmack when so many Guards were there for us in the 2nd.

CJ is still pretty darn fast. But that's really about all he has going for him at this point. His vision has been lacking. He doesn't make people miss. He goes down if someone breathes on him. He has average-at-best hands (for a RB).

We can't use CJ like the Lions use Bush because they have different skillsets. And frankly, I think Bush is the better back at this point. Bush is a true dual-threat and he's as elusive as they come. CJ apparently needs wide open running lanes before he transforms into "Every Coach's Dream".

Well this is not good news since most games we play against a 3-4 defense.

So.....we have the best running back in the league as long as....

    • Teams don't game plan for him
    • The OL creates truck wide holes
    • A running QB is in the game
    • Teams don't stack the box
    • We are playing a 4-3
    • We are running outside of the tackles
Sounds like we got ourselves a playmaker guys.
