I'm just seeing what's on video tape. And I believe what I see before I believe what I'm told. That video looks pretty bad to me.

Remember that Jake sprained his right knee on that play. I think what you maybe seeing is the knee hyper-extending to the inside which makes Jake's whole upper leg point outward while his lower leg points inward. This creates the illusion that something actually broke or dislocated in the upper thigh. I'm sure it wouldn't look that way from another angle.

Well, nothing will happen til tomorrow when they do another MRI or get a good idea of exactly what the damage is and an expected recovery is.

I like that everything is encouraging so far.

I DON'T like that they havent been more clear as to what happened to him on the field and what the tests so far have ruled out (besides they don't THINK it's a season ending injury).

    Gut

PS - If Locker seems to be injured for something like 4 weeks or so, unlikely the titans would trade for Freeman (even though straight up value-wise he's worth a lot more then a 7th round pick in terms of potential). I expect Freeman may get cut anyway so we may be able to pick him up for free. Schiano said he might not even be the backup QB and it appears they want him off the team! I think we'll see a wait and see approach.

right as he comes down onto his right knee, all you can see are the navy blue of his right pant leg, then you can see the light blue (facing away from us) pops into view and back out.

He probably just caught a cramp at the worst time, then panicked and laid there.

I think Jake is normally tough, but he has over reacted before. Remember him at Washington? He thought he went blind, but his helmet was simply covering his eyes.

@jwyattsports: Munchak said he's still confident no dislocation for Locker #Titans

@jwyattsports: Munchak confirmed not a season-ending injury. He will be back this year at some point #Titans

@jwyattsports: Munchak: Locker already at facility for treatment. Tests encouraging #Titans

@jwyattsports: More Locker: "I am going to work as hard as I can to get back as soon as I can. I believe in this team and will do whatever I can ..."
@jwyattsports: More Locker ... "to help us win in the meantime.” #Titans

I'd be very happy if Locker only missed four weeks.

TO ALL THE SO CALLED "FANS" HERE:

Instead of playing a couch potato nay-sayer, RELAX and wait for tomorrows news, Jake was at the facility today... SO I FIND THAT ENCOURAGING!

RYAN FITZPATRICK is the QB now, whether YOU like him or not! Be a FAN, and have FAITH!!

I said this yesterday and from what we have learned so far I believe its a jammed hip. Much like with a jammed finger they tend to swell quite a bit so its screwing up the MRI. Just need to wait on the swelling to go down to confirm no structural or ligament damage. As far as the video...it could of just been his muscle you are seeing. But reallly looks like injury was more caused by the couples hit as it redirectedhis body in the opposite direction he was initially going his knee slammed into the ground at an award angle causing the hip injury.
