Seems like all our better players are made of glass then. Mccarthy, Britt, Greene, Hill, Stewart, Ayers, Pitoitua, Levitre, Walker, all those guys have missed time this year at some point.

Why don't you get on those men? Oh because youre a stupid face troll.

How can you not blame Wilkerson for the injury? Dude speared our quarterback helmet first while Jake had his arms down and was completely defensiveless. There would be no injury of he wasn't hit by the helmet and sent spinning like a pin ball. It was a cheap shot. If he raps up and tackles Jake no harm, no foul, no injury. Dude speared him . . . .. $100,000 fine please.

I actually think we can work through this Locker thing.

I mean we have Greene, Johnson, and Battle running behind a top O-Line now with another week together. We've got so much depth at WR we sometimes have to deactivate a guy. The defense is amazing, any play can turn into points for us. And Darius ReTard isn't making as many stupid decisions as before.

Last night I felt terrible about losing Locker, but Im pretty sure Fitz can manage to throw for ~180 a game. He just needs to not turn the ball over, so lets dust that guy and his beard off and get him game ready.

He surprised the hell out of me connecting with Nate for that 77-yard TD, so yeah, Im not feeling as sick about the immediate future like I was last night.

Stewart hasnt missed a game yet has he? or Ayers? or Levitre? Or Walker?

Britt and McCarthy are also considered injury prone just like Jake

The thing that really weighs on me about the Locker injury isn't even the possibility of losing games. It's how much this will impact his overall development as a player. Yesterday it felt like he was finally playing with some confidence and beleiving in himself. Now, whether it's in 4 or 8 weeks, he's gonna be pretty much starting from scratch.

Nooo thats not how it works.

Whats great about Jake is he takes each game and learns something from it, he puts each experience in the bank to refer to when needed.

He will come back and pick-up from where he left off.

I totally agree Bravey. The run game has got to pick up the pace though. It might take a few weeks for Fitz to develop any real chemistry with the WRs so 3.5 from CJ & Co. isn't going to cut it.

I think Fitz will be just fine. QBs need time to settle in and get into a groove. Just look at how much Jake seemed to improve over the course of a few weeks. And from what I remember Fitz looked pretty sharp for the most part during preseason. People keep forgetting ALL WE NEED IS FOR HIM TO BE A GAME MANAGER.

Pollard said - "we haven't come together yet like we should, and thats the scary part".

That to me is the sound of a good team overall. We will be ok guys. Fitzpatrick was given a boatload of money to come wait his turn, he probably could have waited and landed a starting gig, but we got him knowing this day would come.

I hope you're right. But what about him mentally recovering from this injury. For such a mobile athlete this will make him at least hesitant. Maybe you're right. I just feel like we were finally on a roll and now it's been interrupted. I really want to see Hunter out there more. He can make ridiculous catches on difficult throws. He'll be a huge asset to Fitz and Jake when he returns.

Losing Jake Locker isn't even the worst thing that could happen. Imagine Michael Roos going down? Then what? At least we have a contingency plan in place, and its actually a good one.
