Because the sky was the limit with locker playing the way he was. Fitz isn't a bad Qb, but if locker's injury is bad we aren't going anywhere , and it's another season he doesn't get to play and get better as our franchise Qb.

 

Coming off the bench without playing since preseason.. good god

Jets are not as good as people thought. They just played average teams like themselves that can compete

Well agree to disagree. I'm not saying he didn't have some bad throws. I just think you gotta put it into perspective. He's the backup coming in cold off the bench with no run game to lean on. It certainly could've been a lot worse. Now, if he's still throwing ducks next Sunday after a full week of first-team reps and preparation then we'll talk.
