    Well it'd be a good thing for teams like us who are routinely just on the outside looking in.

    That said, this would be another terrible move for the league. 44% of teams making the playoffs each year??? No thanks.

    Just like in the NBA. 16/30 teams make the playoffs and no one cares about the first round because they're meaningless games.

    Not true at all...My grizzlies were an 8th seed when we beat the 1st seeded Spurs....I really don't mind an expanded playoffs...I think the NBA's playoff setup is awesome...I think the NFL's is good too, but another game wouldn't hurt IMO

    What is it, two 8-seeds have won in the first round ever? Yeah, great entertainment.

    It's like when the NCAA was talking about expanding to 80-something teams. When a 16 beats a 1 you can start talking about expansion.

    Not saying I agree with 14 playoff teams, but you're argument is stupid.

    How many 16 seeds have beaten 1 seeds in the NCAA tournament? I'll help you out, the answer is never. Should the NCAA retract teams?
