Cassel can be serviceable... But not long term. They will have to draft another qb. Quick.

IDk if you follow college football, I don't really that much, started watching a little bit a few years ago but anyone from college that you think would fit their system?

Their system doesn't look that hard. Handoff to Peterson and then identify one-on-one outside because there are eight or nine in the box. Ponder just doesn't have the arm to challenge a defense deep, so DBs sit on short routes and Peterson gets stuffed.

What saved that offense last year was Peterson ripping off big chunks on the ground.

There's a problem. You rarely get a QB that just fits directly into a system. You build system based on QB... This is why ponders ghetto Vikings look faaaar removed from the Farve Vikings.

Who fits their system?? A QB that can thrown the ball accurately and read defenses. The rest will settle itself.

From "should have been a first round pick" and "better than Braylon Edwards" to "solid but injury prone" is you trying to hard.

Ponder has played well at times, he just isn't consistent enough. Looks like the Vikes are suffering from that dreaded P word like we have been lately. (potential) If they get few enough wins, they could end up drafting one of those nice rookie QBs coming in. Worst thing for Minnesota is for them to get around 7-8 wins and be stuck with a bad pick and no QB solution.

(that's why sometimes losing games is better for the franchise as a whole.. something a lot of fans refuse to acknowledge)

    I can't predict injuries.

I'm good. I'm not THAT good.

He had almost 1000 yards receiving not too long ago and 9 TDs.

    ... continue...

I have seen lots of QBs do that on a bad snap
