One more reason to hate the Chargers

I remarked at the time that it was a punk move when Griffin tried to rip the dudes helmet off. I didn't know which player it was but I saw a Titan's player doing that.

And yes, there are a fair number of Charger fans complaining about the non call on the game winner too but many of them stated that the refs were liking them throughout the game so I'll at least give them credit for that.

 

There is a reason facemasking is a big penalty in football. It is extremely dangerous and can most definitely result in serious/permanent injury. As we all know the neck is a very delicate thing and it doesn't take much to do real damage.I've been pulled down by my facemask, it's not fun. I agree that tangling Fokou up was wrong as well but it's not like it was totally unprovoked. They're both in the wrong.

 

NFL is too busy handing out fines for off-color socks to worry about things like this.

 

Fokou grabbed the guys facemask, the guy tried to break his arm.

Both should be fined.

And that was hardly a facemask. If anything had been called on Fokou it would have been Illegal hands to the face.

 

If you look at it on Game Pass or anything else in slightly better quality than a gif, it's clear he grabs the guard by the mask, it's not just hand to the face.

It takes two to tango. Either you fine both or none.

 

my hatred for the chargers has been increasing over the years and it is probably the fact that we have played them quite a bit and I think Rivers is some sort of emotional punk. That being said..... F*** the bolts, we won, and believe in karma because that will happen to this guy for trying to break Fokou's arm.
