Josh Freeman Benched!

I don't see it as giving up on their season, I see it as them trying to salvage their season. Freeman had his chance to do something but he can't hack it. Time to give the next guy in line a shot. Personally I don't give a sh!+ about Freeman or Tampa Bay. It's not like they have a shot in that division anyway.

 

Someone is going to sign this guy and turn him in to a good quarterback. He's had two seasons with 25+ TDs. He's only 25 years old. Seems like he has a some growing up to do, but he has talent.

 

So whats everyone's thoughts on Mike Glennon? Kid is taller than a giraffe, might help him the same way Mallett and Roethlisberger use their height to their advantage.

 

Probably be a Brown next year, this way they don't have to blow an early pick on a QB, grab some receivers and run.

 

He will look great for a few games. The TV talking heads will gush about him and kiss his ass in interviews. Many of them will say "I knew all along this guy is the real deal." And by the end of the year he will be terrible.

 

I wonder if he has a religious, cult like following on goBucs.com like other athletic QB busts seem to acquire.

He had one good year. No. Locker is way better at this point.

It's probably the right move to bench him. Their defense has been playing great and with a decent QB they would be 3-0 right now.

 

We can describe freeman in one word. Backup.

He has had over 50 starts to develop and become good. He hasn't.

 

Browns came out already and said theyre not interested.
