I didn't call for him to start, just for him to get more snaps. Ideally, we'd start Nate and Wright with Williams/Hunter subbing in, and on the field for 3 WR sets. Even if we keep Kenny I think he has lost his right to start IMO.

    Don't kid yourself.

You're just upset I do it without using 10 paragraphs no one ever reads. :D

Climer usually reads like sand in a bathing suit but this might be the best piece by him I've ever read. I think he precisely summarizes where we are with Britt.

There seems to be a message here. In what everybody seems to understand is a crossroads season the Titans aren’t going to wait around for people to get on board.
It’s unfair to portray this as a passing of the torch from Britt to Hunter as the team’s premier wide receiver. For one thing, Hunter is a rookie who now has a grand total of one NFL reception. For another, the Titans’ best receiver is Washington, not Britt.
    .........
The Chargers cooperated by playing man-to-man coverage on Hunter. Asked what he thought when he realized he had a one-on-one matchup, Hunter said:
“I lick my chops and hope the ball is coming my way.”

Who is really blowing this out of proportion though?

Lets just say that Hunter doesn't make that catch, or Jake was picked or whatever. If we lost that game, or say Stevens or Mooney catches the game winner, would we still be talking about moving Britt?

I think so. He has played like straight up garbage and at this point, deserves to be the number 4 or 5 guy. Behind Washington, behind Wright, behind Williams, and probably behind Hunter. This was never about Hunter getting the torch, this is about Britt and the hole he put himself in.

Exactly. This is not about Hunter. It is about dumping a guy who is not producing. Get Kenny out. Give more snaps to Kendall and Damian.

They are both simply too short/small to be every down outside WRs, especially in 2-WR sets... You need someone like Britt/D-Will/Mike/Hunter on the outside to give you that height.

I'm not saying they haven't been our best two so far, but I'm not sure how I feel about them starting outside. Both are better suited to be #2s/slot guys.

too bad penalty yards isn't a stat in fantasy leagues or I would have picked up Britt....... no player should have more penalty yards per game than receiving. He needs to get his head in the game, it's now or never!
