Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright was happy that teammate Justin Hunter caught his first NFL touchdown pass on Sunday, but he had some constructive criticism for the rookie as well.

“I told him he should have had two touchdowns,” said Wright, referring to a long incomplete pass in the end zone, a second-quarter play in which Hunter waited for the ball to drop to him instead of jumping for it.

“I told him he let the ball come to him. I told him after that to high-point the ball. Nobody out there can touch him if he does that.”

But Wright, a first-round draft pick, is high on the overall potential of Hunter, a second-round selection.

“He’s 6-4, has a great vertical, and he runs really fast even though he doesn’t look like it,” Wright said. “I’m happy for him. I’m glad he made that (game-winning) play.”

Hope Hunter listens to Wright, better than Britt trying to teach him although I think Britt is selfish and wouldn't teach him sh**

If he caught the first one he wouldn't have been in a Hail Mary situation to catch the second one. He'd still have one TD.

    Take that, Kendall!

Well, I've heard comparisons of Hunter to Randy Moss. Hopefully, the future is that bright.

based on his other selfish acts toward the team. I haven't seen him do one positive thing to help this team. Not that this would even matter but 1 yard on 1 catch would be better than what he produced on Sunday. He is a liability at this point to the team. he has shown his immaturity on twitter, so I base it on that!

Hunter was interfered with by weddle bad on the first one. Had it been pollard and lets say royal they would have called it. One of the worst ref games ever seen in the nfl even fouts was shacking his head!

Dude, he was also interfered with. Why knock the guy on a pass that would have been a gaurenteed TD, if the CB didn't grab both his arms a second before the ball got there. No WR in the league can do what Hunter can do while he is in the air, so maybe he should have jumped, but I'm not convinced he could have, and still had the chance at the reception. This guy will get better with time. No one can out jump this cat. He could have gone to the Olympics, but chose to stick with football. Very glad the Titans moved up and chose Justin. Screw the loss of next years third round pick, this guy is worth that and way more.
