Josh Gordon on trade block

This fan base's infatuation with WRs is unmatched.

I'd take Joe Haden though...

 

No thanks. Even without Britt (which was shown yesterday) were o.k. with our current wr corp.

 

Wright was our leading receiver in catches last year and will most likely lead the team again this season.He is a solid,dependable receiver and one of Locker's favorite targets.Gordon was suspended indefinitely in college for being caught asleep in a parked car with marijuana.Later the next year he failed a drug test and tested positive again for marijuana.Also the NFL suspended Gordon for the first two games of the 2013 season due to violating the drug policy.Sounds to me like he is on a fast track to nowhere and can't keep his nose clean.No way would i make that trade.

 

I'm with Fry, if they are cleaning house lets try for Joe Haden.

 

I would trade Britt for Gordon straight up both trouble players need a fresh start, I'm assuming the Browns are looking for draft picks though.

 

That would be a mistake. Kenny can get over 1 horrible day, Gordon is always going to be stupid and who knows how long it would take him to catch on with us.

I suggest we ride it out with Kenny, then when his contract is up we let him test the market.

 

Josh Gordon already proved he was better than Britt last year. The only reason he's on the trading block is because of the weed because his physical tools and on the field performance is off the charts

I wouldn't trade for him, we have much other needs than WR and we're already down a 3rd.

However, somebody should trade for him. We saw what Gordon can do (10 rec, 146 yards, 1 TD, and 22 yard rush) with a 3rd string QB throwing his way. Imagine him on say... New England, with Brady throwing at him. Browns would be stupid to trade this guy, keep him - he'll make a great threat when you draft a QB Top-5 this year.

 

We have bigger needs but I mean, if they would do Britt for Gordon then absolutely.
