Schwenke not yet on Titans’ radar

I think there is some misunderstanding on 2 fronts. First, very few coaches will come out of the draft and say yes we had 3 guys rated higher but we're really happy we got the 4th best OC prospect. They all say the same thing...we got the guy we wanted all along and the best OC prospect in the draft. So don't listen to coach speak after the draft....they all will tell you they got who they wanted! None will say we can't believe we missed out on that guy so we 'settled' for the guy we got!

Secondly, even if Schwenke was the best OC prospect in this draft, it does NOT mean he's an instant Pro Bowler or even an instant starter. Factor in he missed a LOT of time and we have vet options and it wasn't gonna happen. Also keep in mind, while Turner has blown some things, he's done well with other things. The same would be happening with Schwenke who will not be without growing pains when he plays.

Like others, Im a little surprised Spencer isn't getting a shot. I agree, we could see a change after the bye or earlier if this starts biting us in the butt!

Gut

 

Turner will be fine, don't worry! O-Lines take time to gel and everyone in the middle is new. Chance is a rookie in the NFL and when you add Big Country's leg injury to the mix and you've got yourself some growing pains. Things will work out and the O line will dominate! Schwenke was set back by his injury and will have to fight for a spot... hopefully next year!

 

How could this face NOT BE READY. Schwenke, Schwenke, Schwenke. LET HIM PLAY.

Robert Woods>Justin Hunter........Just saying JCBRAVE

 

Only time will tell. After two weeks though Woods has looked decent.

 

I said it before we drafted him. Woods is more pro ready and a safer pick. Hunter is a big reach! But my biggest problem with Hunter is that they wont even play him!!!! He creates mismatches. He needs to be in the game.

 

Wont know til the seasons over, but Im pretty sure any Titans WR could start for the Bills, they have NO ONE after Stevie and Robert up there.
