Not good news. Do we pick up another running back off of Free Agency, or just roll with CJ, Battle, and Reynaud. Ryan Grant is available.

I agree, I think battle can handle the workload when CJ isn't in. I am also hoping we pass more at the same time.

It's gonna be a rough couple of weeks for an offense that is already struggling. We're built to pound away with our 3-headed monster.

Just give Battle some carries, don't make CJ do it all by himself. Keep it 55-45, so CJ is fresh and we can get tough yards too.

When running back Shonn Greene had arthroscopic knee surgery on Sept. 16, the Titans hoped it would only keep him out a few games.

Greene has missed two games since, and his availability for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs doesn’t look good after he missed practice again Wednesday. Greene suffered the injury in the season opener, but didn’t have surgery until eight days later.

Greene has been durable throughout his NFL career, playing in 61 of 64 games, including all 32 in the past two seasons with the Jets.

“It’s getting better,’’ Greene said. “It’s hard missing time, but if you play this game, injuries are a part of the game. You can’t complain, you just have to put your foot down, get better day by day, and stay positive.”

In Greene’s absence, Jackie Battle has worked as the No.2 back behind Chris Johnson.
