Jake Locker to this point... (ongoing)

Exactly teams are run blitzing us every time which makes it hard on CJ b/c they are daring Locker to beat them. Alex19874976, or whatever the number, is just too ignorant to see this.

 

I agree, If we can open our passing game, that would drastically help cj and open some holes up. Got to be balanced, one side of the ball is always affected by the other.

 

I know what you mean but honestly even if Jake makes that throw we probably find some other way to choke. The Texans still had 2 timeouts and we weren't running the ball effectively enough to make them waste'em. Completing that slant would have been ideal but it was far from an insta-win. Having Shonn Greene on the other hand...

 

I dunno fellas I just watched the game in full... had it on DVR and Locker really didn't look that bad to me. All I heard on the forums on game day was a bunch of B&M about how terrible he looked.

There were a few drops, two by Britt although Locker threw a terrible pass on the slant. Still a good WR, Megatron, AJ Green, Marshall and so on would come down with that catch. Kendall Wright has got to catch that ball, pretty easy catch actually that would have been a huge play. The bomb that got called back was just an unfortunate call for delay, so all in all not a bad game vs. a tough defense on the road.

 

Britt may have gone to the house on that play. There were no safetys over the top!

 

No. Jerry Rice wouldn't have came down with that ball. That was a straight BB thrown way too high! On a pass that easy and that close a WR is never gonna expect the ball to be thrown that bad. I could have made that throw easily!

 

He did fail Sunday when the game was on the line. I was speaking specifically of you claiming his total QBR of 51.4 was terrible.

 

The Texans may have the best defense in the league this year. Need to be more patient with Locker and give him more of a chance. Also need to get Britt out of the starting lineup. He is not helping.

 

If he finishes there he will be in the bottom half of Qb's this year!
