I know many of you have a lot to say about this so let's try to keep it all in one thread.

In a nutshell, the OL and field position didn't give him many opportunities. Jake got into a rhythm on that 99-yard drive but missed the easy slant which would have likely won the game.

Jake has a 92.1 passer rating today and put two balls into the endzone.

It wasn't his stat line, it was the game planning for him.

We are a one dimensional offense and his erratic play is limiting us right now. I like and want Locker to play big, but I don't think he has the consistency.

Thank you. I personally don't blame much but the play calling.

Refs and field position didn't help at all.

What about the Safety? Take that away and we win. Is that Cj's fault? Dl's?

Still think its too early to call for fitz. Give him at least 6 games to see where he is at. If he hasn't improved by then it's done. I think the chargers next week will be another tough game . They look pretty good this year.

Screw the stupid QB rating, that doesnt win games.

Shaub had nearly 300 yards and 3 TD's. that wins games.

Locker should have had 300 yards and 3 TD's.

Locker is Tim Tebow with a better throwing motion.

I agree. Predictable play calling, led to a lot of 3rd and long situations, which is something no QB wants. He had a few inaccurate passes, but he does show the ability to stretch the field with his arm strength. If we lean on the run to open up the passing game going forward I think we can win games, but that doesn't mean you play completely one dimensional football on offense. When the other team stacks the box and dares you to throw that's when you need to be able to beat them, and with Locker's arm strength and the talent we have at Wide Receiver I think it's possible.
Another thing to keep in mind is this is a revamped O-line playing against one of the best front sevens in the game, so I don't think they deserve that much of the blame. They had some bad penalties but they opened holes for CJ in the first half, it's just once again one dimensional offense puts the O-line in a bad spot also.

You take away the safety and we are still down 14-10 and will punt from the 6 inch line..

he's not playing horribly but week after week he's missing a handful of absolute GIMME passes that could extend drives or lead to points. just can't afford to keep doing that especially when its looking like we might have a top 5ish kinda defense going. because of his inability to keep the chains moving, except for the one drive, the defense was constantly on the field which ran out of gas and collapsed at the end/OT
