Who Wants Johnny Manziel?

I don't think anyone is disputing he is a good college QB, however he isn't going to go very far in the NFL for a few reasons.

 

Why is Manziel such a preposterous idea when Teddy Bridgewater is ranked as the top QB on many boards and he is 200 lbs soaking wet?

Bridgewater is listed as 6'3 200 lbs. How many nfl QBs are that light? Mel Kiper has him #2 on his big board behind Clowney!

 

Because Manziel is making himself a target for one. His loud mouth on top of him running around like a scat back is going to get himself murdered. I also do not trust his ability to stay out of trouble off the field.

I don't think I have ever seen Bridgewater run around like an idiot on the field.

 

Is AJ Mccarron really that good? Or is it because he has a big Oline and big powerful backs that grab 7yrds a carry? Not hard to look good with that kind of supporting cast. Just need receivers that can catch.

**Edit: I see the 2014 QB class thread now. Still have my doubts about AJ until he has to operate more on his own.

 

Manziel can actually throw and is a lot better runner than Tebow.

 

Bama is loaded with WRs and Rbs. The 6 top Wrs are back from last year and they have a Jared Cook like freshman TE to boot(OJ howard). Cooper hasn't even done much this year but it doesn't matter when Kenny Bell is your #4 WR with his speed you are going to have major match up problems.

They have about 6 quality RBs as well. All 4* recruits. Fowler will be a 2nd or 3rd rd pick in the next draft and he just gets a few carries a game.

McCarron is very good but that is always the issue. The supporting cast is so good.

 

The top QB in the 2014 draft is going to be
Hundley out of UCLA if he comes out and i bet he does.

Nfl draft scout has him as the top QB for the 2015 draft and Mike Mayock already ranks him as the #2 QB.

He has all the tools and few of the question marks. At 6'3 222 size is not an issue and he is very athletic.

 

Yeah i know .. it's not fair. Spread the wealth a little bit! GAWL!

 

Manziel runs like a fairy. Don't want him or his college playbook on this team.

 

He has the maturity of a 10 year old VY. The kid will be out the league quicker than Tebow.
