I agree he's a good coach but not great. The one thing I've always like about Tomlin is he never makes excuses for poor play and puts all the blame on himself. I will say, however, that he uncharacteristically seemed to be making a lot of excuses in his post-game presser yesterday.

honestly I didn't get to see his post game presser... I was watching the gb/sf game. He normally doesn't make excuses but if he did that is news to me. I think week 2 is where most nfl teams will find out about themselves but I feel the steelers will not fair much better which I don't mind one bit!

I hate the steelers more than any pro team in any sport. any day they lose is a GREAT day for me. Doubly so, when the Titans make it happen.

THE STEELERS ARE NOT GOOD. Not much surprise here. They sucked last year, too. Everything that made them great in the past decade other than Polamalu (Roethlisberger is on the downslope) is now gone. Better luck next decade, you C$%$suckers.

For me it's the Colts :p

But it feels good whenever we beat the Steelers because you know the Titans have to have a good game to do so.

I don't hate the colts anymore, since Manning is gone. Their crap fans (which I am surrounded by) have really changed their tone, and the real turds went out and bought an orange Broncos Manning Jersey. They show their true colors, and makes them easy to spot, from the more respectable colts fans. I hope the Colts ream Manning a new A-hole when he visits them later this year.

After a decade of hating the colts with a passion, that fire has cooled a bit.

    "Monday Morning Meltdown Thread"

After going through a lot of sites and forums and looking at their predictions, not that many were very optimistic about this season. Yeah there were the usual homers and delusional fans but basically it seems like the media hyped up the Steelers more than they were worth just because they're the Steelers.

The national media has been hard on the Titans. I heard one guy say "I am picking the Steelers because they are playing the Titans." Some late night guy on CBS Sports Radio called "Adam the Bull" listed the Titans amongst the six worst teams in the NFL. This good then went on to make his playoff predictions and he picked the SAME SIX TEAMS that made the playoffs last year for the AFC to make it again this year.
