Seven wins and nine losses. Pittsburgh will not blow us away in the first game but will win by 7 - 10 points comfortably.

That statement is false. Jaggies fans know they suck.

If we want to make the playoffs then it's obviously important to do well in the division and actually have a winning record but the Pittsburgh game and the Kansas City game are going to be huge when we're fighting for a wild card spt. Now by no means is our first game a must win but it would be huge to get a leg up against a team we'll be competing against for a spot and would be a great start to our season.

we will need to win two of three between Pit, S.D. and K.C.

All three of those teams will make a push, less likely S.D.

Yeah S.D. too. I was listening to ESPN radio earlier and they were breaking down their schedules and playoff predictions and it came down to us, Colts, AFC North, and the Chiefs competing for 2 spots. If we can beat the Chiefs, Steelers, split with Colts and Texans, and win the games we're supposed to we'll make the playoffs. Obviously this is the best case scenario but I guess we'll see after Sunday.

Playing the Texans week 17 is huge, as they should be resting starters. Pray we sweep the Jags, and at least split the Colts, even though I think we could sweep them also. 4-2 in the division would be huge for our case.

I'm at 9-7 right now. I think our offense will be impressive, Top-5 running game. Locker will be improved, good enough to be given another year. Will still make some head scratchers, but then will also make some wow plays also. The reason I put us with 7 losses is i'm not sold of the secondary. We were awful last year and all we did is bring in zero coverage skills Pollard. Griffin is still our FS and we have two average CBs. Our pass-rush should be improved with ZB/Ayers rushing more, but I don't think it will be enough to hide our below average talent in our secondary.

We could get lucky, if the Texans clinch they may sit some starters for Week 17.. giving us an easy win. That puts us at 10-6 and likely playoffs, not sure if 9-7 does it.
