I really like it when Fitzpatrick is in and we actually see the full playbook

It hurts to say this, because I'm a big McMVP fan too and always will be, but he made a bad play on the final play of the SuperBowl. Threw it too early and too inside...which slowed down Dyson's momentum and allowed Jones to make the play. That should have been an easy touchdown.

But I can't get too mad, because he put us in that spot in the first place.

I have no problem with short dump offs, easy completions, and pick up yards. However, with deep targets like Britt and Hunter we need to air it out multiple times a game. Keep the defense honest.

I'm sure what's going on here is Munch and company are trying to get Lockers convidence up. Complete more passes, get in a groove, get him in a positive mindset for regular season.

Yea that was huge. His pocket awareness looks like he belongs in the NFL now.

His rookie year he played well inside the pocket, but then last year with that patch job for an O-Line, he looked sloppy.

Relived to see it was in fact the O-Line and not the QB.

By multiple how many is that?

We dont exactly throw in any volume, we'll probably be on the lower end of pass attempts among all NFL teams. My guess is Jake is only asked to throw the ball 20-25 times a game.

Most QB's only complete 5% of their throws past 20-yards. If you're wanting Jake to go by this general percentage that most QB's seem to abide by, thats only 1 deep throw a game he'll complete.

Considering Jake has never been called "an accurate QB" maybe it's better we not try that many deep balls, I mean he is yet to connect on one of them in 2 games.
