The Texans went from bottom of the league D to the bet defensive team in the NFL when Watt got there. Big Al was out almost every other play. JJ has already had a better career then Haynesworth, and there's no indication that he'll slow down.

No way bruh. Haynesworth was way better in '08.

Watt wasn't the only reason that defense blossomed.

Try making a case for that opinion. You have not even tried.

No no don't get me wrong, JJ is a monster no question and the fact he did that in his second year is crazy, but that year from Big Al was actually insane. I'm not saying JJ can't be the best (ever? maybe) but in terms of that year in question, I stand by Big Al being better.

For the past two years that the Texans have been (statistically) good on D, I give A LOT of that credit to Wade for turning that ship around, more so than JJ. The Texans have actually had pretty darn good defensive talent for a while now, but it was Wade that made them go crazy.

JJ came in and changed everything. Big Al was a beast, no doubt, but he barely played half the defensive downs. JJ was easily the best pass rusher, top 5 run stopper, and had more pass defenses then many CBs. He changes the way QBs play every down.

Watt is a game changer because he's just that dominate. By comparison though I'd have to give AH a different rating based on what he did to the defense as a whole.

    Watt uses.

It is only a matter of time.

His ass probably looks like a pin cushion it has had so many needles in it.

AH and Watt are actually similar players in how they can dominate inside. But the difference is AH only plays about half the plays Watt does so with Watt you are actually getting almost 2 players for one. Oh, check the stats. Watt had 2X the sacks and 2X the tackles last season AH had in 2008. With Watt it is like having two all pro guys in one. And his ability to bat down balls is just a bonus. A real nice bonus since it can stop a drive just as well as a sack.

Watt can be in the elite of all time pretty darn quickly. A few more years like last season would be something nobody has accomplished. Heck, last season was a season nobody accomplished. So while he still has to prove last year wasn't just a fluke be careful to not give the guy the credit he deserves. It was a historic season for a DL.

The Texans have had a lot of good defensive players but last year Cushing missed 11 games and Barwin and reed only combined for 5.5 sacks. Watt has to be given much of the credit for why they stayed good.

Watt did what he did without a big time pass rusher on the outside and a Vince
    Wilford type NT.

Antonio Smith is an excellent player that we should have signed a couple of years back.

He juices? You sure or just saying that?

When I watch JJ Watt I see a player I think is clean, I know I definitely wanted him back in 2011, but we needed a QB.

I dont envy Houston because theyre over rated trash, but do wish we had a dominating force like JJ Watt on our team.

IMO JJ Watt is probably already the best at what he does, if he doesn't eat you for a sack he's knocking balls down, dude is a beast.
