Our WR's coach has Justin Hunter for some reason copying everything Kevin Walter was doing for some reason.

He said to Hunter watch that guy cause he does everything right.

I'm starting to think Washington isn't worth the 4 million he will be making this season. We have a young Damien Williams who has shown potential, but just hasn't gotten enough catches to prove himself. Perhaps Williams could match Washington's production for a fraction of the cost?

We currently have 12 WRs on the roster: The obvious keepers are Britt, Hunter, and Wright. For the rest, I'd keep Williams for his cheap production, Nate because he is a solid vet, and Mariani for his special teams work. I'd cut Walters before I cut Nate.. the dude has been in the league 11 years and we already know how solid Nate is. Unless some of these guys are stepping it up in camp that I don't know about..
    Diondre Borel WR 24 6-0 199 1 Utah State
    18 Kenny Britt WR 24 6-3 215 5 Rutgers
    12 Travis Harvey WR 23 6-2 185 R Florida A&M
    15 Justin Hunter WR 22 6-4 196 R Tennessee
    83 Marc Mariani WR 26 6-1 190 4 Montana
    14 Michael Preston WR 24 6-5 206 1 Heidelberg
    89 Rashad Ross WR 23 6-0 167 R Arizona State
    16 Roberto Wallace WR 27 6-4 222 3 San Diego State
    87 Kevin Walter WR 31 6-3 218 11 Eastern Michigan
    85 Nate Washington WR 29 6-1 177 9 Tiffin University
    5 Dontel Watkins WR 23 6-2 194 R Murray State
    17 Damian Williams WR 25 6-1 199 4 USC

I don't know. Mariani looked decent until he was waving leg around like a flag. If anyone should be on the bubble, it should be Williams.

I think we have a better percentage chance of losing Brittney before Washington.

That is why we keep Washington. Every wide out we have ONLY HAS POTENTIAL. Nate is the ONLY proven commodity we have at wide out.

Holy sh't. We have been over this so damn many times. LOL.

If this is your best/most consistent receiver, you know you have problems:

    2009: 47 catches for 569 yds. 6 td.

    2010: 42 for 687 and 6 td.

    2011: 74 for 1,023 and 7 td.

    2012: 46 for 786 and 4 td.

One decent season does not a consistent receiver make. His best season is #2 receiver at best on most teams.

Compared to everyone else, that is pretty consistent. Also, you have to consider the lack of QBs we've had. His good year came when we had a good QB.
