Not sure what the point is here. If we actually had a defense like Baltimore 2000 had we could also win with Locker. They could just focus on the runing game and throw occasional passes vertically down the field. Dummy stuff down like we did with VY. Locker also gives us some ability with his legs.

So Locker would really have to be pure doggy doo doo to get pulled IMO. They need to stick with him as long as they can hoping a light will come on or something. We need to know with absolute certainty if Locker is worth keeping around by seasons end if possible.

The point was that it was possible.

But you know I'm sticking with the minority here. I don't think Fitz is ever going to be a top10 NFL QB but I think he is a serviceable starter. If Locker is really proves to be doggy doo doo I don't want to waste the entire season hoping the light comes on, cause I think the rest of our team is pretty good at least on offense.

We'll see. But I think 99.9% of us all are hoping that Locker will be at least good enough that we never have to find out about Fitzmagic.

Apparently at least three or four of us in this thread do. Alex called him a "serviceable starter", which is a good way to describe him. He may even turn out to be more serviceable than Locker is. (I don't expect that, but it's possible)

I'm not claiming he's the next league MVP, but he's the best QB on the roster and that's not saying much.

    Production over extremely optimistic prediction.

I agree that Locker has more upside and he can do a lot of different things including making plays with his legs if he has to.I'm hoping as much as anyone that Locker ends up improving and playing well but if something out of his control happens such as another injury then at that time Fitzpatrick becomes the QB.

If Fitzpatrick does lead the offense he could be much better here than he was in Buffalo because there he never had good pass protection, good running game or a good defense and still managed to pass for 24 TD's in 2010,24 TD's in 2011,24 TD's in 2012.If the Bills had a good defense and the team was winning games he would still be there but with all the losses they need a fall guy and Fitzpatrick was let go.His longest throw each of those years in Buffalo was near 70 yards including a 98 yard throw to Terrell Owens.

Ok, his longest throw wasn't 98 yards. That's impossible. It was 50 on that pass.
