Had Kobe known all you have to do in the NBA with star treatment is hold the ball, run to the rim, initiate contact, and get fouled and/or get a layup/dunk like Lebron does, he'd be known as the best of all time.

Lebron's game is cheap. He's not a basketball player. He's a tight end that has the NBA in his pocket handing him everything he's ever gotten.

"Worked his butt off" someone said? Are you serious? Dude has no work ethic. Hell, until he saw how Kobe trains during the Olympics I doubt he even worked over the offseason.

lol he only is getting all this because of Michael Jordan and what he did for the game and sterns tryin to catch lightning twice. maybe m.j. a.i. and karl Malone (im sure someone else could think of 2 better people for a big 3 than that but I don't know tons bout b ball) shoulda teamed up back then I bet mj would have 10 rings 8 finals mvps and 10 regular season mvps and mj didn't go to game 7s cuz he would whoop that ass in 6 or less

I hate that look on his face be real tell everone stern promised you some rings if you went to Miami so he squeezed in two before he retired now maybe the next commish wont be so nice and he might actually have to win his next title for real.

Problem with basketball is, once you're anointed as a superstar. You are. End of story.

The way basketball is played these days, once you have the hype. You've got it made.
Compare it to something like NFL, you can have all the hype in the world, but you can easily bust. Especially if you're a QB. There's no real hand holding.

Sure in basketball, you've still got to be able to hit a jump shot. But as long as you can do that, get some hype and be marketable (ie. in a large market), you're career is defined.

Hell, if MJ hadn't taken a break to play baseball he'd at least have 8 consecutive NBA championships and Finals MVPs.

LeWhine may get 1 more, but I kinda doubt it. If the cHeat meet a healthy Bulls team in the playoffs next year they're goin' home.

LeBron will probably end up with the most rings of all time... because he'll hop from team to team just like he did with the Heat.

He'll find a roster that fits him best and join them. The talk now is that he'll go back to Cleveland in 2014. It would make a lot of sense. He'd be joining a young team with Irving and Noel (assuming they take him #1).

Then once he wins one or two with Cleveland, he'll find another team to join.

He's a b*tch... Plain and simple. Is he a great basketball player? Yes. Is he as good as everyone claims he is? Absolutely not even close.

He's not a great basketball player. He is a great athlete though.

I'd never say the Heat were anything but the thing that killed what was once my favorite sport.
