FWIW i think Loggains will succeed with Locker and with our revamped line on offense giving Locker much better protection along with Loggains changing the offense tailoring it more to Locker's strengths giving him and the offense much better chance to do well.Everything is being set to help not only Jake but C.J. giving him a better opportunity at gaining yardage with a better line and also along with bringing in Greene to help with short yardage at times which will help C.J. conserve stamina longer into the game with the added help at RB.Also we have quite possibly the best receiving depth ever with Hunter,Wright,Washington,Williams,Walter and Kenny Britt who is looking like he was when he was dominate and is also in a contract year which should fuel his motivation even more.Delanie Walker and Craig Stephens could end up being a great duo at tight end.

The whole offense is being set up perfectly for Jake to succeed and i think he will but in the event something does happen like an injury or whatever then we have one of the best backup QB's in Ryan Fitzpatrick who has averaged 24 TD's a season but was let go by Buffalo mainly due to a bad defense so their loss is our gain.In fact with better receivers,a better line and a better defense where he doesn't have to be under pressure to comeback every game he could possibly be a really good QB in his own right.

If everything works out and the line is stout,C.J. runs good, receivers are doing their job and Locker plays well along with the defense playing somewhere along the top ten and improving i think we could win this division with an 11-5/10-6 record and make the playoffs.

I always thought that if Locker was on Washington, Seattle, or San Fran last season, he would have done as good or better than Kaep, RGIII, and Wilson. On the flipside, Kaep and Wilson probably would have had bad seasons if they were on this team last season, playing under Palmer's control. It's all about the system the QB is playing in. Hopefully Loggains will continue that pattern and play more to Locker's strengths.

I'm not saying we should go all out read-option, but if it helps us win games, so be it. I'm not sold on Jake Locker being a pro-style QB due to his accuracy and decision making problems, so our offense should be similar to Washington's, San Fran's, and Seattles.

I think it's a matter of basically manufacturing easy reads and throws. Pick plays and a good run game so locker doesn't have to be the gun slinger all the time. Run game was less than impressive the past couple seasons. We've got the WRs... The defense has steadily gotten dangerous. Get it all together.

I also think an option route offense is a bad idea fir an offense with a young qb with accuracy issues. Especially with a young wr to boot. You don't want locker thinking out there. Find what he does well, and let him go do it.

Those guys were successful and efficient in college.

I'd feel a lot better if this wasn't year 7 of "what can be done for this guy to play to his potential?" Everyone made all the excuses for why he didn't put up numbers at Washington, then Keith Price stepped in and completed 67% with 33 TD's his first year.

If Loggains fails to make this offense a top 10 offense I seriously will scream.

If I was an offensive coordinator I would be salivating at the opportunity to call the plays with this personnel we have.

Perfect O-Line, a lightning fast RB, a bruising powerback, more than 5 WR's capable of 100-yard games regularly. I mean if we can't cant capitalize this year, our coaches should be hung.

I'm 100% behind Jake Locker as our teams QB, but it's probably better that we never compare him to Robert Griffin. When RG3 came out I would have traded up for him, even after we took Jake the year before.

There's very few players that have it all, RG3 has it all.

I think Jake could be better than Wilson and Kaep though, absolutely.

7 years in as an NFL style QB is what it sometimes takes for guys to put it all together.

Jake wasn't asked to play much QB in high school, he ran a wing-T offense, thats 4 RB's basically running that thing.

Normally 1st round QB's have been playing about 5-6 years as an NFL style QB before they actually go to the NFL, Jake's now hitting that timeline, so watch him show a lot of improvement, he's got all the tools to do so now.

And if you don't think every franchise is trying to cater to their QB's strengths, you're missing a lot.

Typically a QB's junior or senior year of high school is the beginning (Jake didn't have that though, he was still playing RB from the QB position), then you develop for 3-4 years in college before spending usually a year or 2 in the NFL learning how to play in the pros before you're giving the keys to the offense..

Jake is actually right on schedule to take off this year.

I want him to succeed badly, but I can't think of a modern day successful NFL quarterback that struggled like he did in college. Kyle Boller is really the only one that I can think of period.
