What a terrible rebuttal...

I have sold used games to friends before. It's not common, but I've done it before. What I said was IF IF IF IF IF IF (key word here is 'if' btw) I don't like a game I will sell the game to a friend. You are still claiming I lied and/or contradicted myself. Show me where I did that. Have I sold used games to friends? Yes. Did I ever say on here that I did so before you called me out on it? No. I simply gave a situation and said that IF I didn't like a game, I'd sell it to a friend. That is hypothetical. Get it? But again, it's a rarity because I don't buy games I don't want.

Where did I say that the code requirement would be the same as the current one for online play? I simply made a comparison to a code that is required for online play and is purchasable online after you buy the game used. The same will happen when you buy a used Xbox One So let me ask, what are you not understanding? I openly said these two codes wouldn't be the same. I clearly stated I was making a comparison between the two - never claimed they were the same thing, and I even predicted you would react this way - because you only want to argue about the system over and over again. It doesn't matter that I've said the issues don't bother me, personally. You want to continuously respond to whatever posts I make and take what I say out of context. If I had been bashing the PS4, I'd totallly understand this. But I have not said one bad thing about the PS4 - other than the fact that I've always hated Playstation's controllers, which is a big reason why I've stuck with Xbox.

I am not defending Xbox's honor at all costs. Thats absurd. I have said these are stupid things they're doing and PS4 will obviously sell more consoles (assuminf MS doesn't make some changes). Idk why they're wanting to do all this, but as I've said it DOES NOT affect ME. So why would it matter to me?

You clearly enjoy putting words in my mouth and making rebuttals based off of what you think you read or what you interpreted. Do yourself a favor and actually read my posts carefully before you continue to make false claims.

Again I ask, anything else? Or do you want to keep clinging to the same details of my posts (that I've now clarified multiple times for you)?

Europe is willing to buy a Microsoft console though. Japan flat-out isn't.

Oh, I don't see it happening either, it was just a thought. But the reason it's a scary one isn't because it would spell the end of Sony (can't say I'd care at all if that happened), but because it demonstrates how much power two **** companies like EA and Activision have over how we "own" our games. If those two decide they want the used game pie and threatened to not support a console over it, only Nintendo could walk away.

 

You can do better than that.

 

OK, has anyone said the reason why EA or any game maker wouldnt like this new idea for used games?? If everyone knows they have to pay the new game price, more of the new games that the creators get $ out of more new games sold over the current way that has the same used game going from person to person with only one copy being bought orignally brand new by whoever started the cycle.

This new way means more new games will be sold. Can't say how many more, but black and white it means more sales. So no way any of the creators are backing out over this when it means more money for them than any time before during the old used years.

 

I think all of their efforts to protect against "piracy" will only backfire and cause more people to look into doing that to circumvent all of these DRM policies.

 

All I know is I am glad they announced it now, and it wasn't all a surprise when the system was on the shelf. This way they have time alter their original plan based on consumer response which as we all know is very negative right now.
