I don't want PC apps on my game console.. it's completely unnecessary to have skype, or tv on your tv, or any of that.

    DVR for games = good
    Facebook on console = why

Just clutters up the dashboard and I wish they had options to remove that junk if you don't want it.

I would do without games for a couple years before I would pay what they're going to be asking for this when it's first released.

I don't think they can sit on it for that long. It'll need to be this year.

Just looking back at this generation's releases and how absurd people were about lining up to get a Wii for a good amount of money, when a couple of years later, they are worthless. My friend waited in line to get a ticket to get a wii (with no intention of paying for one) he sold his spot in line for 100 dollars. 100 dollars for a spot in line to buy a system that you can now find for under 75 dollars.

    This cracked me up.

The PS4 reveal was all games (game interface, share button )

While the Xbox was all entertainment. So if you ask the gaming crowd which one won, they will be pissed at the Xbox.

I don't use my game system for anything but games, so obviously the PS4 is ahead in my eyes.

I think the PS4 is ahead in exclusives, but we will see.

If Playstation can at the very least show me that the system runs atleast as well as the Xbox, then I will go with Playstation. I won't pay a subscription for features like TV and Internet that I won't use, obviously.

But for those of you that use your game system for those types of things, I assume it would be great. Internet Explorer is a neat feature.

Also, motion control is stupid and I don't want anything to do with it. Xbox is making me pay for kinect in the box? No thanks

Same... until I wasn't getting enough in return from the stock trader on here and sold all my shares.

I tried to find Samsung's stock on here as well, but couldn't manage to locate it.

OK, now for my 2 cents. I am a HUGE gamer. Been playing games since I was 3. Gone from Atari, Nintendo, Super NES, Genesis, N64, GameCube, PS1, PS2, and currently 360. Out of ALL those systems and years playing, I have never played as many different games as I have on the 360. Since buying the system in Jan 2006, I joined Gamefly and was able to rent new titles every month. I also was able to purchased the used games I was renting from Gamefly for usually half if not 80% off the new game price. I am a normal guy, no way I could ever afford to purchase all those game I played brand new for $60 each, or wait a year for them to drop to $20 to $40.

After reading the info on the Xbox One, I love many of the features they are doing. I don't care if it does all that TV stuff. If it's there, fine. I probably won't use it at first. But the capabilty will have nothing to do with if I get this system. What I cannot except is them completely elimiating the used game market. Its ALWAYS been that way. I get a game for birthday, take it to my friends house, leave it there. Whatever. I want to be able to try out games that I might not know about and then either give them back from renting or trade them for something else.

Their logic for why their are doing this is because the game designers aren't making enough money from their games being bought new because the used games profit goes straight to GameStop or GameFly. So from a business standpoint, I understand this. But we live in an age where my iPhone can get a game for $1 to $5 that takes up my time the same as a concole game. So if you are saying in order for me to play 100+ different games on my new Xbox One, I am required to either buy them brand new OR pay a fee to put them on my harddrive (which I am sure will be close to the new price). I have to spend $6,000!!!!!!!

Go Pluck Yourself Microsoft!!!! I don't need you that bad. I will wait and buy a used Xbox One two years from now and just buy Halo and Call of Duty, while continuing to play my 360 games. OH, and thats another thing, WHY CAN'T I PLAY MY 360 GAMES??? I have a bunch of them. SO GAY!!!!!

I waited in line for the 360... but I had just broken up with my gf in high school and had nothing to do.

I definitely won't do that again... I'll wait it out until the price drops - unless a relative wants to buy me one for X-mas.
