Maybe some day there will be a team named the Tennessee Vince Young's, but not anytime soon.

This is the NFL, where the big boys come to play, no professional football franchise will cater to a guy like that. Perhaps the best owner in the league Robert Kraft says he doesn't answer to Tom Brady.

Even that bozo in Cincinnati stands by his words and wins in the end. Only the clowns like Al Davis buy in to the player before the team concept, and look where thats gotten the Raiders.

    Since we are revisiting him....

Last year a friend of mine would watch the games with me, you know accompany me in misery. He loves the game, likes to watch it, used to the live in the states and all that, but doesn't really support a team.

He has completely shattered my faith in Lock. He was like, Mike (thats me lol), do you not remember how bad he was last season? He's like, I hope a better OL and scheme make a difference, but that guy was flat out awful.

And that made me remember a lot of things I really didn't like about him. I'm extremely worried about next season. We've already had so much talent, and now we have EVER more, if Lock fails that will ultimately be the reason why the team fails - I'll be super pissed.

Pshh that everything you just said is completely laughable! Teams are all the time fully committing to a player and his strengths! Look at what the redskins are doing and Seattle is doing. What the saints did with Brees, what the 49'ers did with Kap, what the Broncos did with Peyton (they pretty much gave him the playbook), What the eagles did with Vick, and how the pats have fully committed to Brady (if you think Kraft doesnt answer to Brady then you better think again)! Without Brady that franchise is nothing, that team is nothing!

In order to be a successful team in the NFL you must cater your scheme to the players you got. Drafting players based on the scheme you want to run is outdated and is exactly what got Fisher in trouble here!

Whoa, youre entirely wrong about the Redskins, Hawks, and Niners LOL, they haven't built their offenses around those young QB's, not even close.

They all 3 run virtually the SAME offense, BECAUSE they're somewhat reluctant to hand over the keys.

Wow man, talk about way off. You've got some learning to do buster.

No that offense works perfectly for that type of QB. Thats why they run it, b/c thats what they are good at. Hence catering your offense to the style of QB you have. Which is exactly what they do.

Gonna revive this discussion with some thoughts on the future offensive scheme. I think locker would benefit from some pistol offense especially getting Greene and CJ in good positions to make plays.

Imagine having locker in the pistol with Greene as the tail back behind locker and CJ as the sweep back. A really good read option here could fake the CJ sweep and give the ball to Greene to pound it up the middle. Or even fake the sweep with a roll out option to be able to possibly pitch to CJ while Greene makes a block.

Add in the fact that we added walker, the tool box player from sf... Could really help break down the intricacies of the formation... As well as play in something he's familiar with. I hope loggains has been looking to broaden the creativity.
