He's a 27 year old millionaire in the offseason. You have to be the biggest chump alive.

Lol. First 5 years: 8,500 offensive yards. That's a VERY short list.

My problem with CJ is that he is the running back version of mine Wallace. He is good for one big strike here and there, but freaking worthless on second and seven, or third and three.

Maybe the new offensive line will change that. I how so.

Of course it will. Remember when we had a good OLine? He was beast mode.

And frankly, CJ isn't a feature back. He would be best served complimenting a successful passing attack. Get the safety backed up and the LB in coverage then run through big holes. Fisher thought he'd be fine ramming him up the middle 25 times a game and that's obviously not what he's there for. I dont even feel the need to summarize Chris Palmers antics. He's not Eddie George. And that's why George averaged under 4 ypc.

Man, if you don't agree with me that he's a complete and total moron for tweeting that out, I don't know what to say.

It was stupid. Fact. End of story.

I'm not naive enough to believe he doesn't do this kind of stuff. It doesn't bother me for the most part. You can take one look at him and make these assumptions. I just prefer not to know about it.

Plus, these players are role models whether they realize it or not. I'm sure there are hundreds of 12-14 year olds who follow CJ on twitter and saw this. That's trashy sh*t he's doing and you guys all know it.

I feel like there are a ton of people on here will defend CJ no matter what he does - even when he's being incredibly stupid (which is often). I'm still glad we have him on our team (though I wish he wasn't paid so much), but I wish he wasn't like this.

Like I said, can you name another NFL player who does this?

What if RG3 tweeted this out? What if Peyton Manning or Tom Brady tweeted this? What would happen? Believe me when I say, it would be a pretty big deal.

Not all pro football players are role models and people need to stop acting like they should be. Kids don't want to be like these players as people, they want to play like these players. And honestly if our media wasn't publicizing these player's private lives how the hell would kids even find out about these indiscretions?

Back in the golden era of sports kids were able to athletically look up to players who were awful human beings and not be adversely affected because the media wasn't out there letting everyone know how many drinks a guy had or how many women he slept with. These things are not news, they are gossip. Whether a guy goes clubbing or not is his business, not ours.

This may sound harsh but if a pro athlete is a kid's role model in all aspects of life then that kid is doomed regardless of who the athlete is. A kid's only true role models should be upstanding older people who are close to that child daily, usually parents. If you only see your "role model" like twice a week, on tv, and he's wearing a damn helmet at the time, you're already screwed.

And that is where I venomously disagree because even though our OL stinks I do not believe that Chris Johnson was giving effort into to trying to make things happen. I don't care how bad the offensive line is if he was actually trying to gain what he could on every play our running game would have been better. What I saw in many games is Chris Johnson get stuffed for short gains in the first two series and the half heartily dance in the backfield and slide down before contact; as bad as our run blocking was there were tough yards to get but he was either unwilling or unable to get them.

I do agree that Johnson will have a great year though as our OL will be able to open up mini-van size holes for him to run through and Johnson will love that. No effort, just stats.
