So basically we've established that Tebow has no business playing football on anything higher than the college level. He should go be a high school or college QB coach somewhere if he wants football as a profession.

Rumors out of Baptist Sports Park are that Bud has offered him a lifetime contract including use of his own private jet and personal masseuse.

I don't understand the dislike/hate for Tebow...sure not the greatest skills for a QB but is he any worse than Weeden, Gabbert, Leinart, Brady Quinn, some of the recent UDFA's? In a league full of DUI's and Domestic Violence and drugs it's good to see a team first guy like Tebow. I'm sure someone on 32 coaching staffs could find a use for the kid. We found a use for Donnie Nickey for years for crying out loud! lol

If he would agree to play fullback, I would bring him in and give him a shot. At least evaluate him until preseason. What could it hurt? Quinton Johnson sucks ass, I don't think Tebow could be much worse.

The guy is a terrible QB, I don't see anyone really signing him unless the Jags do it for the attention. Good passing QBs typically don't play at schools like Florida in option offenses. They would rather go somewhere that would allow them to showcase their arm. Wish the dude the best, although he does tend to piss me off. He is so positive all the time that I think he may be border line retarded.

Think of the ticket sales! Tebow mania could come to Nashville. It's the Bible Belt. He would be given the key to the city by all the religious groups. Signing Tebow is not about playing football. It's about getting the Titans on the map. Imagine the news coverage

Warren Moon just came out and said Tebow would not be able to hack it in the CFL

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9234640/warren-moon-tim-tebow-throwing-not-cut-cfl

"You have to be able to throw the ball up there, if anything. They throw the ball a lot. It's only three downs, so the passing game is much more important up there, and there's a lot more field to cover," Moon said in an interview with KILT-AM in Houston.

And this statement is pretty damming

"If you can't throw the football, it doesn't matter where you play quarterback," he said. "You have to be able to throw it. That's his biggest problem, just being able to complete passes, be an accurate passer. I think he's a really good athlete playing the position, but I don't think that's enough sometimes."

Moon said the difference between Tebow and him and Flutie is, "We knew how to throw the ball.

It's hard to imagine Tim Tebow thriving in the CFL, where he likely would be asked to throw at least 40 passes per game, James Walker writes. Blog

"We were very good passers. We didn't have to go up there to change our throwing motion. we didn't have to go up there to try and become more accurate," Moon said. "We just needed to get to the opportunity. Doug's was because of his height; mine was because of my color. So we went up there and proved ourselves."
