Alright so far it's been a great off season. We addressed basically all of our needs in either Free Agency or the draft and brought in some serious talent. However, we still have a little work to do. First off, we need another pass rusher. Dwight Freeney is the guy we need to go after here, we're very familiar with his game and for what we're wanting he would be a great fit as that situational pass rusher and also a solid contributor overall in the rotation. He's an experienced vet in both personal success and team success, he knows how to win and he knows how to make an impact.

Something else we should look into is trading a WR, probably Nate Washington. Preferably we should keep him but if those rumors of him quitting on the team are true (when that was I don't think has been determined) then he should be shown the door. Also, the Hunter pick was telling for him or Britt. Speaking of Hunter, we gave up a 3rd round next year for him so I would like to see us get a pick back from this position. I'm not saying we can get a 3rd for Washington (maybe?) but some sort of value back would be nice.

Finally, keep signing guys. Bring in more depth and more competition. I would really like a FS to bring out the best in Griffin (insert some sort of joke about Griffin) and also to see if Martin is a guy we can count on in that back up spot.

John Abraham is still a free agent, too.

The Titans have to bring in a cheap veteran DE, IMO. Way too thin at the position.

Him or Idonije would be fine with me as well.

Idonije is probably the better pick-up for what we need, which is a rotational defensive end at a cheaper price. Abraham is probably looking to get paid again, since the pass rush ability is still their and would want a bigger role in the defense.

I agree, Abraham or Freeney would top this thing off. I think Ruston alluded to the fact that they would regroup and see where the roster stood and see what else they needed. So I wouldn't be completely shocked to see them have Abraham in for a visit, only because he would be cheaper than Freeney. If Ruston received any offer whatsoever for Nate Washington, I think he would have been gone by now. I think he would take literally anything just to dump his contract.

I totally forgot about Idonije. He would be my preference, too -- provided he still has something in the tank. I love what he brings. Very underrated player.

I think we could deal Nate for a 5th, if wanted. Don't see him fetching more value than that.

I would like to add Stewart insurance/replacement to my list now.

Does anyone know exactly what is going on there. Has he fallin out of favor, is his recovery exceptionally slow, not worth his salary?

It's got to be the injury.....I'd imagine it would be pretty hard for him to fall out of favor when he doesn't say anything.
