If Barrett Jones falls to us in round three and we pass on him and he gets picked later in the round, I'll more than likely suffer a severe aneurism... :cj:

Well the fact of the matter is he didn't suck last year, his first season as a full-time starter so I can only hope his play continues or improves since he is still relatively young. Maybe he falls flat on his face this year but as of now we have bigger fish to fry then replacing a quality starter.

I never said we shouldn't draft Jones or a C for that matter. I advocate the Jones pick in rd 3. Schwenke could be a good addition in the 4th as well. We gave him a 1 year deal so obviously the coaching staff may not be entirely sold either but he either plays well and gets paid or we move on.

In Velasco's favor I will admit he's improved year by year, which is nice, but he's still got a ways to go before I say he's any good.

I doubt he's getting faster, maybe he can get stronger, but he needs to learn the position better, and help his Guards. I don't think he does anything besides point out the MLB. Thats fine with Hasselbeck, but with Locker I want the Center making more reads at the line, I just dont think Velasco does that.
