But you draft a RG? Come on. It is literally the same concept you are in favor of which is OG at 10.

The trouble with signing Andre Smith is he's asking for a lot of money. Adding a Tackle in the draft is the way to go if you can get one. (I dont support this idea BTW)

The only thing Im not happy about with Fluker is he talks a whole lot like Vince Young and gains weight too easily. His success in college may mean when times are tough he quits, I mean the guy has had to deal with a whole lot of crap growing up so his nastiness could get the better of him some day. Or it couldn't and he'd be a stud for 10 years.

I just do not want to add a RT at 10, just how I dont want a RG at 10 either.

So you agree that he's just like Andre Smith, because to me they are exactly the same player? Honestly I'd rather pay Smith, who has NFL experience and draft a higher rated player than Fluker.

Well theyre similar in that they both went to Bama, both play Tackle, both are huge, many similarities. But if one is younger but equal in play and cheaper, you go that route IMO. I dont see us paying Andre Smith big money to come in a play RG, Fluker can do that for you.

This isn't difficult to wrap your head around. Smith has to WANT to come here and be OK with a position change not to mention be affordable in the budget.

Walterfoorball.com current live mock draft happening now.

Tennessee Titans: D.J. Fluker, OT/G, Alabama
I was talking to @draftcampbell yesterday about our final mock drafts, and he made a great point to me. The Titans almost have to go offense here because the front office and coaching staff will be fired if Jake Locker and Chris Johnson don't perform well. General manager Ruston Webster needs to do everything in his power to get the most out of Locker.

Hence, the D.J. Fluker selection. Why Fluker instead of Jonathan Cooper or Chance Warmack? Because Fluker can play right tackle as well. The current right tackle, David Stewart, probably won't be around after 2013. Fluker can start at guard this upcoming season and then eventually move outside. The Titans are rumored to love Fluker, so they'll defintiely consider him at No. 10.

    *** OTHER 2013 NFL DRAFT POSSIBILITIES: ***

    1. Dee Milliner, CB - Believe me when I say that the Titans absolutely love Dee Milliner. He would fill a big need for them.

    2. Jonathan Cooper or Chance Warmack, G - Other offensive line options.

Pick change; previously Dee Milliner, CB

Okay a few things about Walterfootball...

    1. He always goes with the rumors for his mock, credible or not.
    2. I'm not sure about his "sources" but more than a few times has he claimed the pick is a lock because of what his sources say and he was wrong.
    3. He's really not that good.

However, there are some good points. David Stewart has one more year left, and we may not want to give him a huge contract at 31. Especially since Roos only has another year after this season on his as well. We could go Fluker, put him at Guard, then let him slide out after Stewart is gone then take/sign another Guard next off season. Also, we wouldn't have to spend a high pick/big signing on an OT next year. Helps now and later.

Still don't think he's our pick but it does make some sense.

I can see that. He is basically the 4th best OT and I expect 3 OTs to go before us. But cannot see us going for him first round. All actions coming out of the FO point to a DB or possibly a DE going first round.
