If there was an opportunity to trade back a few spots I would take it if the Titans were set on going CB in the first. I can't predict what team on draft night is going to want into the top 10 and grab a player but every team already knows which players they love and all we can do is guess work. However, there is a good chance that some team in the late teens or early 20's probably wouldn't mind moving up for Mingo or Ansah or Jordan if he fell.

Meh. Screw trading back. I say take an impact player at 10 and be done with it. If that's Warmack, so be it. If it's Lotulelei, so be it. If they like Rhodes over Milliner, so be it. Go ahead and grab him at 10. It's very difficult to predict how a draft will go down, particularly this one it seems. So grab the guy you really want while you still can.

Given the current state of our team, I value an impact player who can start from day one much more than picking up an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick (who most likely won't pan out anyway). Of course if some team makes an offer we simply can't refuse, then that's a different story. But I just don't see that happening. Not at #10. And not with this draft class.

But most of our better players are 2nd and 3rd round guys. If we can find the Jason McCourtys and Zach Browns out there with later picks then it would be wise to stock up on picks

I'm telling you if Dee is there we will screw it up and take someone else. Mark it down, but to be real, I highly doubt he will be there. If he makes it to 9 then our luck the Jets will snag him.

I guess. But I'd argue that McCourty isn't really anything special. And we've only seen one season's worth of Zach Brown. I remember when a lot of us thought we had a future stud in Karl Klug. I'm not saying ZB is going to drop off like KK. But it's just something to keep in mind.

I'd rather take the "sure thing" in Warmack/Cooper than just hoping an extra 2nd/3rd round guy turns into something special. Just my two cents.

When I created this thread I immediately thought "If it actually goes down like this, I bet we take Rhodes over Milliner." LOL

Give me Johnthan Banks in the 2nd since the media finally jumped of the bandwagon

Good call. That is exactly what seems to happen with us. Honestly, I think the F.O. gets tunnel vision by falling in love with a prospect. Come hell or high water, or in this case a great player on the board be dammed, they will draft with blinders on.

I wouldn't touch Milliner with all these stories about his injuries and hernias and steel plates and stuff. The guy isn't even that great of a CB prospect to begin with.

Yeah, I just now heard about all this injury stuff in the last 30 minutes. Makes me even more confident in my prediction that he will be there at 10. But also kinda makes me leery about taking him so high.

    I want Star anyway.
