You could be right, but I am pretty sure they showed Spoon in the starting lineup on TV. But they've been wrong before so you're probably right.

He only had 7 snaps against the Bills guys.....

However, in that very limited time, I remember him being around the ball and (pending a re-watch) had some really good plays (1 really good one in particular). Again, 7 plays is nothing, so its hard to get in a groove.

Gray needs to get this guy on the field much more. I will tell you what, his overall play (in generally limited time) has really impressed me. The dude flies to the ball and more importantly seems to use his speed effectively with good angles.

I really want to see Akeem, Colin, and Zach out there playing. I know thats the future and I actually can't wait, They bring 3 different styles of play and together who knows, if used right (key word there Jerry) could be deadly.

However, at this point I expected more from Ayers in general...

I also expected more from C-Mac (especially after dominating in the Pre-Season) - he can't be the center piece of your D if hes always injured and never there....

I agree. It was frustrating watching Tim Shaw come in when Diles was hurt. Going against CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson it might be a good idea to have an LB on the field who is actually fast.

I thought Ayers was going to be another wasted Titans 2nd rounder. However, right now he's T-6th in the NFL with 60 total tackles. That production surprises me, from a guy who I had no interest in drafting.

I know we have gotten a lot of tackles from him, but I don't remember many big plays from him. Also, with the constant 'flux' at LB, he's been the mainstay so he should lead in tackles....

What I'm saying is that I expected for more impact plays - tackles for losses, bigger hits (in a legal manner) on receivers running underneath, forced fumbles, interceptions, sacks....

From all that offseason hype, I just haven't seen what I'm looking for yet.

Yeah I see what you're saying.. but where was the hype for Ayers? I [personally] never had any hype, for I thought he was going to a bust. He's proved me wrong thus far.
