Zach Mettenberger is NOT the backup QB.

    Mett in the preseason showed some anticipation and accuracy locker hasn't ever had. He also holds on to the ball entirely way too long and live fire will show he's probably not ready to compete at this level either.

    I wouldn't doubt that in a year he looks substantially better than locker and whitehurst however. We are losing embarrassingly. At least with mett or CBJ we have TRIED to rectify the situation.

    Locker needs to be benched.

    I agree. a feeble, if not futile attempt at success is better than no attempt.

    I was SO ready to be done with Locker after last season..

    then the Lewan pick came.... then the Sankey pick came...

    At least with Carr, I'd have a reason to want to go to games. At current rate, I'll go to a Saturday preds game, hang out for the Gotitans tailgate on Sunday morning, then head on back home.

    Rather not put my pregnant wife, or my innocent bystander friends through the horror of a 2014 Titans game.

    now Jake has a wrist injury. yet another excuse to "give him more time" if cbj plays and plays well, i hope whis never plays jake again.
