We are in deep trouble if Wright and Woods are #1 and #2.

Edit - I didn't see the line with #WR1 lol. My bad.

I counted 63 players on your roster...

No way we keep 9 WRs ... it will probably be more like 6, so cut 3 of those.

I don't see us keeping 4 RBs now that we have 2 starting caliber ones. So cut 1 of those.

I doubt we keep 7 Safeties ... I would say maybe closer to 5, So cut 2 of those.

I don't think we keep 11 OL, esp since some of our guys play multiple spots on the line ... Cut out 2 of them

I don't see us carrying 7 DTs, cut 2 of those

Now you are at 53 players, but it will be really hard to kick FGs and Punt without a kicker or punter on the team ... so add a P and K. Now we up to 55 players, so we need to cut 2 more.

Cut 1 DE and 1 LB ... now we are back to 53.

So I kept your draft picks and made the cuts I would make to get the roster to 53 (also added a P and K). Cuts are shown crossed out

Looking at the roster this way could shed some light on our draft. Looking at our current DTs and who we have added in FA makes it seem less likely that we will draft a DT early. We have Casey, Martin, and Hill who are all sure to make the roster. Usually on game day we keep 3 DTs active. So if we were to draft a DT early then do we really deactivate one of the other guys. We also have added the BIG DE Pitoutua who can be a swing type player and give you some reps at DT when needed. So although I like Star, with our recent moves and current roster I just can't see a DT being the 1st pick.

Looking at the roster the pick that would have the most impact would be an OG or a pass rushing DE to rotate in on passing downs.
