CJ is not strong. We know that. He is, however, very hard to tackle once he accelerates. The faster someone is moving, the harder they are to tackle. CJ went down at first touch when touched before accelerating in 2009 too. The Titans making mistakes (or getting dominated) in run blocking and not using CJ correctly have caused the drop in production far more than anything CJ's done imo. It's like the Titans got so confident in CJ, they thought he could do anything. He can't. However, if you give him a lane to accelerate through, he is literally the most dangerous RB in football imo. If the Titans block the way they did yesterday more consistently, there would be no question about CJ being a top 10 back. CJ is a RB that is capable of leading the league in rushing in the right situation, but unfortunately, hasn't been in the right situation for him to excel consistently for a few years now.

This is a very common mistake made by fans of pro sports teams. You cant look at CJ's numbers now and judge him. Players are paid based on what they have already done. Trying to judge a players worth by looking at his salary is bogus. CJ isnt being paid $10 mil this season because he is on pace for 2000 yards and 16 TDs. Its because he has been great. Its just a fact of life in pro sports. Truthfully players rarely play to their huge contracts. They have alredy earned it.

How is that skewing numbers? I listed all 4 games and provided the stats , including YPC. Didn't included YPG, that would be a skewed numbers. Not my fault he only got 9 carries, but that was his stats for the game... but using your logic, not counting the 9 carries is skewing the numbers also.

Locker is all over the place.

18/24, 149 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs vs 21st ranked Pass D
25/41, 326 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT vs 8th ranked Pass D
13/22, 185 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INTs vs 9th ranked Pass D

His most yards come against the 8th ranked Pass D, obviously because we we're down early and tried to catch up -- more attempts. He's been all over the place, incosistency at it's finest. However, we're talking about Chris Johnson in this thread, not Jake Locker.

Hmmm lets put two and two together here. If Johnson is continually struggling against good defenses but excelling against bad ones, than that means our line is failing to block these good defenses. Yesterday was the first time holes actually opened up for CJ all season.

DGB will have more yards and tds than any wr on this roster this year.

Well... top rated defenses are top rated defenses for a reason. Thats because no one does well against them.
