Woo-Hoo! Bring on the hate :D

    So here's my mock:

6th Round: Byron Maxwell, CB, Clemson (6'1 207)
7th Round: Lee Smith, TE, Marshall (6'6 266)
7th Round: DeAndre Brown, WR, Southern Miss (6'6 233)

I love it, and I'll do one more Titans mock and entire NFL mock the day before the draft. But for now this is my Titans mock! I'll break it down for you, before you start hating.

1st round -> Von Miller. I believe he's our defensive impact player. Alot of people think he'll be gone by the Titans #8 pick, but it's very possible he'll fall to us. All the teams ahead of us are not in a HUGE need for OLB, and they may go for need instead of best available. I believe with our new defensive system, we'll change up our 4-3 scheme. We need a "hybrid" or "SAM" LB. Someone who is athletic enough to blitz, and cover TEs. To me Von is just the guy for the job. I think if we pair Von with Tulloch (hoping he re-signs for decent money), our LB play will be great. Von can come off the edge with our beefer DEs.

2nd round -> Ryan Mallett. He's one of the riskiest players in the draft. Sure he has an amazing arm, but supposedly he has a bad attitude. He reminds me alot of Phillip Rivers, with there "y" attitudes. Mallett has the biggest upside out of ANY QBs in the draft, IMO. He could be a bust, but I don't think he will be. He's slow in the pocket, and has bad footwork, that can be correct and fixed. With commitment he could become our franchise QB.

3rd round -> Jerrell Powe. He's a big boy, just what the Titans need. Mr. Powe will allow Jason Jones to move to DE. Powe is an absolute monster, and a huge guy. He could eat up the run, and reminds me of Pat Williams. He's just what we need in the middle to team up with Tony Brown. JJ and Morgan get the outside, beefing up our entire DL.

4th round -> Pierre Allen. He's a decent size DE, and reminds me of Jason Jones actually. Posses good strength and has an arsenal of defensive moves. He will be great depth for the Titans at both DE spots, probably pairing with William Hayes on the DE #1 backups. Even without Suh in '10 Allen showed that he could be a star, and he plays the run extremely well.

4th round (comp) -> John Moffitt. Senior guard that had good strength and footwork. Has the NFL guard body, and mindset. Excels at run blocking, not amazing at pass blocking. Gets alot of outside the tackle swing blocks. Could be our starting LG.

5th round -> Delone Carter. Has good size, and packs a punch. From the one game I watched on him, he plays alot like Jonathan Stewart/Marion Barber. Has decent speed to pair with good power. Also possesses a mean stiff arm. He could be the #2 back behind CJ that we need.

6th round -> Byron Maxwell. Bigger Corner, tackles very well. Could fight for a roster spot, and could excel on special teams. Has decent speed, could win the #4 CB spot.

7th round -> Lee Smith and DeAndre Brown. Lee Smith could be our #3 blocking TE that we need. DeAndre Brown is a huge receiver that is like Danario Alexander of the Rams. He went to a small school (same school as McRath), will probably be a PS member, but could replace Gage next year.

    So whatcha think? :wink2:

I like Miller and have no issue what so ever taking him at #8 overall. I would try to move down in the board before taking him (I think some one will move up for Miller/Jones/Amukamara/Smith and we can get an extra second). Other then that I am wondering if Miller posses the coverage skills to play 4-3 SAM Linebacker. Great potential pick but it could come back to haunt us.

I would rather see us draft Kaepernick (who IMO has unlimited upside) or Locker before Mallet but I would be fine with the pick provided that Mallet checks out with the Titans FO. I have a major issue with his character issues as I can't shake the feeling that they are based on something.

Love this pick but I hope we pair him with a another tackle outside of Brown. Brown can't stay healthy and I am personally tire of watching him jump off sides 11 times a game.

Love the Moffitt pick but I would rather see us double dip at interior OLine in the forth round by going Kirkpatrick/Moffit. Both could come in a start/compete from day one. I think Allen would be a good person to fall back on as plan B though.

Decent mock as you answer our needs at LB/OG/DT/QB with people who could start right away. I don't like the fact you completly ignore our needs at OC and SS as I think they are two of our top five needs (QB/DT/SS/LB/OC).
All and all I'd be happy with this draft though.

If you watched Von Miller in the Senior Bowl, he proved he posses coverage skills. He has good speed and decent size, he transitioned to a 43 OLB in a week of practices, and has a great game. I think his coverage skills aren't an issue. The only issue I see is he overdoes some plays, rushes to far outside or gets to hyped up and puts himself in a bad position and out of a play.

I think Locker will be gone in the first round. I think we'll have our choice between Mallett, Ponder, Kaepernick, and Dalton. Personally, I'd want Mallett. His "character issues" are mostly rumors, just like his drug problems. He plays to win the game, and is very y.. as I said he's got a Phillip Rivers type of attitude, and I have NO problem with that.

Brown normally stays healthy. In 08 and 09 he missed two games, and in 07 he didn't miss a game. This year he only missed 5 games. He doesn't get injured that much. I do agree 100% with the off-sides!!!!!

    I love Moffitt also!

There's a reason I did not draft a SS. This years draft has HORRIBLE safeties. All of them have HUGE flaws. Why waste a 4th rounder on a SS, who's going to be nothing? Next years safety class is promising. Hope has one year left on his contract, and maybe with a new DC, he'll play like he did in 09. If not, we have Robert Johnson, Myron Rolle, and Schommer waiting for a chance. Give them a chance, if they can't produce, then we can look for an early round safety in the '12 draft.

Finally some new material on the draft page.

I frickin love this draft X. In Jerry's introduction he mentions that he lets the players play to their strengths so I have no problem taking Miller at 8. I agree he could fall to us easily, and we should be all over it. Fairley will go in the top 5 and Arizona will hopefully take a QB and SF needs a CB bad. Obviously Miller is a freak pass rusher but I'm more interested in him covering TE's. Miller-Tulloch-McGrath.Yeah I'd feel pretty good about that going into next year.

The Qb's. It's a bit of a crap-shoot. Personally I like Newton,Locker and Mallett. If none of them last till the second round then Kaep,Dalton,Ponder are nice prospects as well. I like Mallett, not concerned with the off the field issues. I see a franchise pocket passer that we need. Man what an arm.

I haven't watched much tape on Powe tbh. He seems to have the size though that Gray looks for in DT. I really like Austin and would love him to drop into the 3rd round for us but it seems unlikely.

We definetly need some DE depth and I agree Pierre Allen could be a steal here in the 4th. perfect size for our system. Great pick.

Moffitt would be a steal here as he would help CJ big time in the run game, Rackley would be great here if lasted this long. Munch should know whats up here.

Deep RB class where value will tumble into the later rounds. Sure could use a big 220+ Rb. I hope we carry three next year.

Dont know much about the CB

    Love me some Lee Smith.

DeAndre Brown is huge, got some upside.

Overall great job X.Would be delighted

I'd be more interested in entertaining trade offers if Miller lasts until #8. Teams like the Texans would probably give up a lot to draft him.

I would NEVER trade with the Texans, you don't trade with your conference rivals! That's just silly.

Not a fan of this draft at all.

Von Miller being on the board is a pipe dream. Drafting a rush OLB who's best attribute is rushing the passer while we run a 4-3 is just not very smart.

I'd be fine with Mallet even if he has off the field issues I'm OK taking a risk on a 2nd round pick.

Don't know much about Powe, seems to have good size, I'll have to check up on him.

Allen is very, very average at best. I'm a Husker fan and he was just a body playing DE, nothing special at all.

I've heard good things about Moffitt, I'd be happy with him at the end of the 4th.

Carter in the 5th would be OK, but I don't know a lot about him.

Never heard of the other guys, minus Lee Smith... homie ran a 5+ forty... I think there will better TE's on the board with this weak TE class.

First I want to know how you make these sweet graphics.

Onto my thoughts of your mock. Overall pretty solid.

Von Miller regardless what defense he is drafted in will have an impact. He is the type of guy who has enough athleticism and intelligence to adapt and excel. That said if we draft this guy we need to scheme to his major strength which is pass rushing. We want to run hybrids and standing this guy up off the edge would be a nightmare. My number one prospect in this draft absolutely take the guy if he is there.

Ehh I'm iffy on Mallett. I hope Locker is there in the second but I could see a case for Mallett to come in right away from a pro style offense and start day 1 or sometime during his rookie season. If you take Locker he needs a year but his potential ceiling is higher.

Not big on Powe. I would consider Drake Nevis here even though he isn't the big body run stuffer we may need. JJ might move outside so we will need another DT regardless if he moves or not. Nevis is a very good penetrating DT and the only knock is his size. Don't see very many d-lineman being available here worth a pick other than Nevis possibly since it is a top heavy d-line class. Titus Young could be a wildcard if available here.

Moffitt cool. Allen not cool guy has 8.5 sacks in 2 years no thanks. I don't care what his size/measurables are he just doesn't get the job done. Give me Alex Green instead to compliment CJ.

    Nick Fairly DT Aurburn
    Jake Locker QB Washington
Chris Carter OLB Fresno St. (poor mans Von Miller?)
    Alex Green RB Hawaii
    John Moffitt G Wisconsin
    Chykie Brown CB Texas

    My mock atm ^

If you could make my mock into a sig like yours that would be cool. think about it

Alright smarty pants. Let me reword this. I would not trade with the a divison rival, unless they offer something ridiculously stupid like you did.
